    Awesome video man. Believe it or not, I've been subscribed to you since you had your EcoBoost. I absolutely love your videos, and seeing you go from an EB, to a GT, to a GT350 is honestly super inspiring. You deserve a ton more subs man, keep up the great work!

    Excellent video; camera angle just right. Appreciate the comparison with the Focus ST. Own a Focus SVT that is a blast on the back roads and was concerned the GT350's weight would impede the fun factor on tight country roads. Look forward to your friend's impression compared with Miata and Mini. Continue to have fun and making the great reviews.

    Thanks for the review, especially your comment on the 2012 Boss 302 vs. the GT350 impressions. I had the 12 Boss as well and loved it, so to hear you say the GT350 is that much better says a lot, because the Boss was a lot of fun and capable on the track. .

    Also have a base. You should give the brakes a good try. I hit 1.2g decel on a damp 60 degree road with cold tires, people at track days are above 1.3g. My accel is .79 and I've never hard launched it. did .78 passing someone on a 2 lane, at altitude so in gear pull is quite strong.
    This motor loves octane. bad 91 is a world apart from good 91. 93 octane is where the rated power is supposedly made. I might try some unleaded race gas if I hit the drag strip to see what it really can do.
    I'm 99% sure the sport mode doesn't alter the suspension. I run daily with the steering in sport mode as it filters out most of the kickback and tramlining you feel on the street. Its heavy, but comfort mode just lets the front tires punish you. Strangely I prefer comfort for backroads, and sport for grinding out freeway miles. Comfort is light, and wieghts up nicely off center so it feels really good even driving slowly on a good backroad. It will let you save your preferred steering mode with your driving mode selections.

    I know this car would beat any of those on a track, but there's no way in a drag a stock 350 is beating a supercharged 5.0 with both cars having equal drivers....track, yes....drag....no way

    In your opinion are the recarro seats must have? I'm ready to pull the trigger on one this week but it doesn't have the recarro seats.

      +iCLUTCH For me? Yes. But I definitely don't think you'll sit in a 350 with the wider seats and feel like you're missing much. But for me, I wanted this strictly as a weekend sporty ride and the Recaros were a big part of that appeal.

    A trans cooler for a manual trans? Why would you need that? I don't even think NASCAR uses those.

      Thanks for making me feel stupid. Apparently a gerotor pump based cooler comes standard in the GT350R and GT350 with the track package.

      +stylac not trying to make you feel stupid buddy.... Just trying to tell you to turn your indicator off. ;)
      Google "limp mode GT350" and you'll see why we need transmission coolers. Ford muffed this up for 2015-16, but corrected the problem for 2017 (all packages come with trans and diff coolers now).
      The catalytic converters are *right* next to the bell housing and transmission... and the theory is they help cook the fluid causing the overheating and thus limp mode.... Whatever the case, Ford should have had coolers from the beginning as standard equipment.

    Don't want to sound rude but really? Three new cars in about a year 1/2? LOL You're the type of person who's never happy and when the GT500 comes out, you'll trade in your GT350.
    You and Streetspeed 717 should hang out more! Aside from that, do what makes you happy. Congrats.

      I see how it looks like that. Just to be clear its all about value and finances that has driven these recent trade-ins. The EcoBoost and GT were only $1 apart in monthly payments (yes, really) after only having the EB for 6 months, so that was an easy upgrade to make. Now, while my total financed for the Shelby was a few thousand more than the GT (whereas the EB and GT were basically even), I get a lot more value out of it. My used GT350 is currently worth almost $20k more than my GT and barely cost more to buy with the deal I got. I don't see anybody turning that upgrade down. It's all Al Packer Ford's fault! They work some amazing deals!

      Yeah I know what you mean.. if you can afford it, do it so can't blame you. Not hating like I said lol
      The GT350 will def. hold value.. stay off the Mustang forums tho since majority of the stuff discussed so far are problems especially the vehicle going into limp mode, etc. Hopefully you got yourself a good one and have zero problems.

      Rrd T I can't stand street speed. I used to sub, but his content is lame now. drives me nuts vlogging like that, adding no value other than look at my car, look at my truck. he should talk about how he invests imo, like help some brothas out man this guy at least talks apples, oranges and gears.

      it's not great , my 2010 civic si stock sound system blows it away .. No joking ..
      However it's not bad .. I can't find faults with it . It's just not good or up to par as you would expect it would be .. I have a 2017. it's just incredible.
      I modded my civic si out to 380 front wheel with a Eaton blower and I was scared of the car . After driving the Shelby I can now drive the civic at 10/10ths with no fear but I'm now afraid of the Shelby lol

    is the transmision different in the 350 vs the gt i heard it was closer to the challanger

      It is different. Tremec gearbox in the Shelby. Not sure how it compares to the Challenger, though. Pretty cool tech in the gearbox, like carbon and copper synchros!

      Its a "unique" version for Ford of the Tremec 3160. That transmission is used by GM in the current Camaro SS, and some of the manual Cadilacs. Ford went for different ratios and some things like rifle drilled main shafts.
