Together alone, connected by phone, a much better notion, without the blue ocean, keeping us apart, at least for a start, a positive motion, alone together in my crib, Check out the cut of your jib, ain't no fib, it's my life long desire to fan the flames of this fire. Yeah
One of my favorite Schwartz/Dietz tunes, given the treatment it deserves, in memory of the late, great Jim Hall, by three GIANTS... ...led by the great bass virtuoso Ron Carter, supported by guitarists Larry Coryell, and Peter Bernstein, both of whom seem to be channeling their "inner-Hall," with their woody, acoustic sounds emulating his (and the second soloist also seems to be channeling his "inner-Wes" at the end). And this magnificent collaboration was performed in front of a live audience in... TOKYO. (Ya want an International Language? There it is.)
Wow!!!! What an incredible tribute to the great Jim Hall! Incredible playing by all. Looking forward to this being released in the states. Man Larry is scary..... Good. There are no words that do justice to Ron Carter. Peter Bernstein's new solo cd is a must hear.
Thank you 😎
