This saved me at least 30 minutes of work yesterday on a photo that would have been completely recreating 1.25 eyes and removing the photographer from the lens.
So, I was literally just needing to remove some glasses glare and found this video about the new generative AI. My experience was that it kind of worked. Not great, but a little faster than doing the entire thing by hand. The glare I had was much less than in this video too. Your mileage may vary.
Hiya, Terry! 1st if all, THANK YOU for making this video! Because I am just an analog gal living in a fast paced hi tech digital world! I saids what yiu instructed for me to do. But, when I did it, it ruined my eye.I don't understand what I did wrong.?! Can you please help me? THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!! 🤘😎
This technique is disastrous for anything but trivial photos, like the one used in the video where the oversized glasses are easily distinguishable from the eyes and the whole face is uniformly lit. When used on a portrait with lots of shadows, the objection selection tool couldn't even find an object. After using lasso tool to select the glare, generative fill replaced the glare with part of the eye. So, my subject ended up with two halves of one eye looking in different directions.
Ok, I am a total newbie, how did you select more than one area of the glasses? I'm sure this is super simple. Thank you in advance! (and for being nice to the newbie)
Hi Terry! Will these tools work the exact same way with a talking head video too? I’m going to bring in a video now and test it out!! Thanks for the quick tip on the latest version. You rock!
Oh my gosh … I love you for posting this. I can now go back to all my selfies and fix my glare.
You don’t get content like this much on UA-cam anymore. I don’t even use photoshop but great job explaining! Very informative
Thank you for this quick and simply tut, really helped save some portraits i recently shot!

Terry, you are a dead set legend!!!!!
Thank you.
The lid of the left eye (camera right) looks bad.
What app does that ?
when i try to do this exact same thing i just get an error message saying i'm violating the terms of use lol
Just put a . in the box and then hit the generative fill button.

That is very clever.

Thanks but there is no Gen Fill for video at this point.
I can't get the object selection tool to recognize the lens glare, even though it's pretty obvious- any tips?
Just use the Lasso Tool.
