Man, Rodgers has come a loooogngg way. From amateurish throws and amateurish decision makings to now, dude is well seasoned. Salute the future coach. BET.
Reggie Wayne in 2012 must of been thinking about this game where he had 1 catch....because in that meeting against green bay he had 13 catches over 200 yds and 3 TDs talk about a competitor
He had an arm that rivaled Favre's, what an awful take. Jennings said they called Rodgers the jugs machine when he sat behind Favre, implying they were neck and neck. Favre might have had the tiniest of edges in terms of pure throw power, but not by much.
I honestly feel the loss of him in 2011 sent the Packers down the path they’re on. I feel he was the key to making that Dom Capers defense work. Without, they constantly got beaten deep. If he was still on the team, he probably would be a multiple time All-Pro and Pro-Bowler. Could have been a HoFer.
You could see the potential that the Packers had in 2008. They were a good team with a lot of great, young players, they just didn’t win a lot of games that year. Lost 7 games by 4 points or less, 2 in overtime.
@Tony Preston I know, right? It was a pretty fun season even though the record wasn't great. I'm not sure, but I think there might have been just one game where they lost by more than one score in 2008. It was a Monday Night game against the Saints in the Superdome. I remember Flynn getting in the game late in the 4th quarter. It was a shootout that got out of hand in the Saints favor in the 2nd half.
If u can ever find these games i would luv to see jets vs dolphins 2009 and colts vs dolphins 2009. Those were some fun games to watch. Thx so much for the uploads. These are great
That may be true, but any matchup between two teams with future hall of famers at QB is bound to go down as a memorable matchup. Pretty surprising the Packers won this game given how the two seasons went
A much more memorable game took place in Arlington, Texas, at AT&T Stadium between Tony Romo and Peyton Manning. The two quarterbacks combined to throw nine touchdown passes and 920 yards through the air. It was also the first game that Manning threw an interception all season, and it ended with more drama as Romo threw a game-ending interception with a little over two minutes left in regulation. This back-and-forth contest should never be overlooked, especially since everyone had Denver as a 21-point favorite. What a remarkable performance by those two teams. I forgot to mention that there was a combined 99 points scored as well.
My friend Bart!!!!!!!!!!! You saved me from a disaster, thanks, thanks and more thanks for those 2 games (Bengals-Redskin and Seahawk-Saints!). Thanks for coming through, you are an honorable person! You got my list, let me know!
Why can't Aaron Rodgers have a defense like this in a playoff without chocking, if he had this type of defense throughout his career, Aaron Rodgers and the Packers would have at least 2 more Super Bowls in the past 10 yrs
Yeah. It's one of those Favre things he used to do all the time. I've noticed going back to these old games that he looked a lot like Favre in his earlier years as the starter. Now, not as much, but you can still see some of them from time to time.
i had tickets to go to this game....i didn't go because my boss at jimmy john's wouldn't let me have off...being a responsible 16 year old I showed up for work...he told me he was surprised to see me and that he was just kidding....F that guy
1:09:10 - Jennings goes to the huddle and wipes his hands off on Grant and Rodgers. And 1:10:20 - a real football rarity: JaMarcus Russell throwing for a touchdown. Tell your grandkids you saw it here!!
Watching #90 waddle his way to the sideline at 19:54 - you have GOT to be kidding!! Not sure of the rules, but can't he go out through the end zone just to get off the playing field?? But except for that, Cole played a VERY good game!
"they should change something so they know for sure they're out of bounds!" how about.......when you are no longer on green turf, and you're running between people who aren't wearing helmets......yeah, you're out of bounds!! 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦

Yeah he fucked us up that game he was catching the most impossible shit I still remember being baffled at that shit😭😂
"Rodgers doesn't have one of the greatest arms ever to play in the league like Brett Farve did"
Boy did that age poorly, Rodgers imo is the most talented qb ever.
He had an arm that rivaled Favre's, what an awful take. Jennings said they called Rodgers the jugs machine when he sat behind Favre, implying they were neck and neck. Favre might have had the tiniest of edges in terms of pure throw power, but not by much.
@@ryanmelton3679 Favre's advantage came from experience if anything at that time, I agree.
Boy do I miss Nick Collins.
You said it - that man was key!!!

Peyton and Eli certainly had great QB genes. They both could make some amazing throws.
You could see the potential that the Packers had in 2008. They were a good team with a lot of great, young players, they just didn’t win a lot of games that year. Lost 7 games by 4 points or less, 2 in overtime.
The Packers really had a good team in 2008. Much better than their record shows.
@Rohnin yup

Just 6-10 but I remember there were a lot of good close games.
@@packisbetter90 we lost 6 games by a single possession that year.
@@andrewpestotnik5495 yes, their defense really let them down in big moments that year.

The first jeta va dolphins game of that yr **
back when GB had a legit defense ( 2008 thru 2010)
RepublicanNatio 2010 and 2009 Defense Yes
Anyone else watching in 2024!
This team was never the same after Colin's went down
Aaron Rodgers vs Peyton Manning... this game is hella underrated in NFL history!
underrated? how is it underrated? this game is one sided nobody wants to remember a one sided game
Not really. Rodgers was in his first season and Manning was not playing well at that part of the season.
That may be true, but any matchup between two teams with future hall of famers at QB is bound to go down as a memorable matchup. Pretty surprising the Packers won this game given how the two seasons went
A 20 point win isn't exactly a good game. Pretty bad actually.

Lambeau Field remains the only stadium Peyton Manning never won at during his long and illustrious career.
To date, this remains the last Packers win against the Colts.
The losing streak is over now. Packers win 16-10 over the Colts on September 15, 2024.
if you can find the packers and ravens Monday night game from 2009 that would be clutch.!
Maurice Davis u ever find a video of it?
indy went 12-4 and Green Bay 6- 10 who would of thunk.....this why i love the NFL
Well done Bart . Thanks for the game.

I was at this game.
Back when the NFL was fun to watch and the refs knew what they were doing and calling refs are so bad now it's unbelievable
At 19:55 Peyton Manning teaches Aaron Rodgers a trick he will use very well in the future . Free play !!!
is anyone going to talk about aaron rodgers hair?
Sure, why not... he has some on his chin and some on the top of his head.
at 1:48:18 you can hear butthurt Phil Simms say "It's not worth showing another replay of the interception, is it?"
1:32:46 😂😂😂 cant say that anymore!
Ethan Brumback lmaoooo
Oh wow Phil. Boy. Foot in mouth there.

This game was 2008's version of the "Ron Winter show"
A rare but classic uniform matchup
Hard to beat Manning one of the best

IWONDER WHEN HE IS GOING TO COME OUT OF THE CLOSET.
Miss the Reebok era
Arron Rodgers looking like Jesus 🤣
I cant help but watch the ticker and notice the bad game from JT O'Sullivan (@The QB School)

That’s why you don’t need to be straight forward to coworkers.
The Colts' last loss to the Packers, I'm really glad it didn't go down this way in 2016.
Andy to be fair, packers gave that game away in 2012. Bad roughing the passer call and Crosby was awful that year and missed the game winner.
But yeah the colts kicked our ass this year. Glad the packers figured it out and made this year fun.
Bill West They only won by 5, how's that an ass kicking?!
@@jamtop1105 you clearly didn't watch the whole game
