I grew up doing antique shows and flea markets with my parents. That drama can last years... old lady- "That Chad fellow wouldn't give me a deal even though his booth is near mine!", Chad - "She wanted a special price, im like "marked as priced bitch". Good times. Thing is, he does that and then she knows its worth more and marks it up and resells. Cut throats. She isn't wearing it to senior prom. (im not sure what it was, lets assume clothing)?
I started watching Flea Market Madness years ago when I was going through a really bad period in my life. Seeing these episodes still going, and Frank still bringing his usual charm, brightens my day more than I can ever express.
I remember when fleamarkets were like this.. no more. No all we have are these "reruns" and the memories. Thanks Pat, and thanks Frank! Favorite series. I still just put on the playlist, sit back and enjoy

@@mattydips2887 well one thing that's changed in the last 6 year's is pricing. 6 year's ago was a lot easier to score video game stuff cheaper. Now most people think every video game is worth a lot. Back then you could walk up to most table's and ask how much are your game's and most time's they'd say $1-$3 each....now most people either already have them priced according to Ebay or will whip out their phone and look them up.
Interesting to hear all this feedback, in NJ flea markets are still quite similar imo. But yes of course inflation is up, it is almost a decade later in time and you cant get $1 games anymore but that doesnt change the entire flea market scene imo
16:14 Swapmeet drama! Its always fun to see someone hit you with a "Have a nice day I really mean that." When you know damn well they did not mean that
really hope that the deals return once people stop trying to sell stuff at Ebay prices, these games are getting sun damage among other things, they're not worth the Ebay prices to begin with, even if they werent damaged.
YES! We went to this same swap meet that Pat goes to, and this seller there wanted 3-4x ($65) the ebay price on a cartridge only game, that sells complete and in very good condition for around $30 LOL... The label was coming off on hers
Herb Alpert and Tijuana brass is a very famous album. And you better believe people bought it for the cover. Herb used to tell his audience “I’m sorry I cant play the album cover for you”
12:10 - Magnavox unit - I think that unit is a cable tuner / RF out unit. It can be used as an antenna or cable TV tuner, and can connects to a "portable" VCR that you carry around with for those early VHS video camera. That's my guess without seeing the back.
i about lost my drink where the guy was like no, I don't wanna sell it to ya now lol...I've seen this very thing play out and it's hard not to laugh at lol
Have been watching Pat for around 10-11 years, and around 4.5 years ago we moved to San Diego... Haven't met Pat, but I've met Frank! Heard his voice, and told my husband, "That's Frank!" :)
I was listening to the podcast and you wanted feedback about flea market madness. My wife and I get very excited when we know you and Frank have a new (old) flea market madness video. I think it would be fun if you would just go to places and look for games and stuff. Your personality is awesome. Keep the price thing at the end too.
Dear Pat, Big fan, but I would like to make a humble request. I don't know if sponsors like Magic Spoon would allow you to do this, but I (and many other fans) would appreciate it if you put their ads at the end of your videos so we can skip the damn things more easily. No joke. I will never be a customer of Magic Spoon no matter how good it tastes. Still a fan of your videos. Keep up the awesome work. S
You really should do an updated 2022 one post covid.. to show what’s going on with swap meets. like this series.. but 6yrs ago? Lots changed over that time..
I miss those 2k Hockey games. They were loaded with content. I had just recently played 2k5 and I really liked it. Definitely recommended. I used to love the NHL Face Off with the L/R buttons doing a left and right hip check.
8:27 I have that Hasbro of Demolition Smash. It survived from when I was a kid and is still in fairly good shape. RIP My Hulk Hogan and Big Boss man Hasbros. @@mattydips2887 it depends where you live and what they sell. Where I am in Vegas, the swapmeets here are 90% new items imported from Mexico. No real “garage sale” used items anymore. Same happened in LA when i used to live there.
@@mattydips2887 things have changed. At least here in SoCal you now could never find any type of video game related products just laying around for an acceptable price. Only people that would have these products for sale are resellers. The familes coming to the Swapmeet to sell their things is now a rare thing. Nowadays you mostly see are Amazon return pallets and/or Storage clear outs from people that buy storages from auctions.
What's the last volume going to be? 50? Kind of sad we are getting pretty close to the end, but I've enjoyed them. Gave me some insight on what to scope out for at flea markets in my area... too bad everything is exceptionally overpriced.
May 2016 seems like yesterday but actually quite a long time ago! I do like the looking back, retrospective commentary though! Pat you been to a flea market in recent time? I bet prices have changed so much.
I'm always going to tune into flee market madness! Great series and interesting to see the difference in prices over the years for things. Would you ever consider going back to them? Not all the time but every once in a while? Either way, still hair to see them pop up on the feed. 🤟🔥
High School Musical Dance Dance Revolution PS2 has to be the most late-mid-2000s thing ever. Would have been an amazing steal on the PS3 if the original price, probably still a bargain at $55 knowing the compatibility.
As soon as I saw those Staring Lineup figures, I was off to eBay to find me a Patrick Roy figure...correction, figures. Totally forgot about those figures. At least they re pretty cheap.
i didnt get to my flea market this past Friday. it was too hot. plus I wouldn't of gotten there til like 4pmish. when some of the people leave after like 12pm
