What a fab building it must’ve been back in the day! The architecture was something special, very grand. Did you manage to find any interesting info on it?
@You.Me.and.the.Sea_glass the original house on the site was built in 1750, it was rebuilt into this massive thing in 1841, unfortunately it was engulfed in a massive fire in 1907 in which the owner at the time Andrew Laidlay past away... its pretty much been left to nature since then... amazing place... wish it had some of the floors left cos there looks like some of the 'turret' rooms might still be in tact!
