Sydney, my husband is gluten free and I make him sourdough bread all the time! I use King Arther gluten free bread flour. The recipe is on the back or on their website. I let the starter sit overnight and use it the very next day! It tastes so good! Quick and easy!! Hope this helps! People always make sourdough so much harder than it has to be.

After praying to god for a few months that it’s heavy on my heart to be a mom and at his will if he wants it to happen so be it. Like WOW! He’s amazing. I use all purpose flour to feed my starter and bake! Some people use all purpose flour to feed them bread flour to bake. And honestly you can go either way! Don’t stress about it too much!

Yes brown rice flour for your starter! You don’t want to use a gluten free all purpose flour because it’s a blend of flours. It contains gums which you don’t want for your starter :)
You should honestly be fine to use that flour. Whole wheat is better for activation but it totally still should work with white. I use einkorn & started it by myself & haven’t had any issues.

I’ve been making gluten free sourdough for a little over a year! It’s so worth it so much better than the store bought gluten free bread. I used brown rice flour for my starter :) love your videos!

I highly reccomend to get an ESTABLISHED starter so u can get in the routine of maintaining sourdough and such then try to make your own. It’s so much easier that way.
