    One of the best videos about Elafonisi. And the fact you've included information such as the cost of the chairs is very much appreciated. So far no other video I've seen has included that info and I've seen plenty of Elafonisi videos. I'll be checking out more of your videos for sure!

      Nice! You will love the beach for sure, and yes, it seems like any time you travel down to the south of the island it's an extra special adventure! Appreciate it!

    This looks dreamy! I’m hoping to go with my fiancé in July. Flying into Heraklion and heading west. I’d like to end my trip here, any recommendations on what area to stay in so I have easy access to the beach?

      Good luck, hopefully all clears up by July and we can get back to traveling and seeing this beautiful world! I did not stay in Elafonisi, but I did see quite a few smaller hotels and such along the way. Sorry I cannot be a better help, there is a little town just along the road to the beach. I'd imagine book early before the July tourist season, but who knows who is planning travel with Covid! Contratulations on the wedding plans!

    I am enjoying watching all your videos and trying to make choices for where to stay the last week of June 2019. My husband and I are renting a car after 2 days in Heraklion and then have 7 days to explore Crete. I was thinking of heading to the South coast for 5 days, then up to Chania for two days. Any suggestions for which Southern beach village (looking for quieter, not crowded beaches - we are late 50s).?
    Also Do I need reservations in the Southern coast or we can just travel and find a room as we go? Thanks!

      Hi! Sounds like you guys are going to have a great adventure ahead of you!! The area around Frangokastello is a straight shot down from Heraklion, pretty mellow down there you may enjoy it! The resort villas at Paradisos are pretty nice, too, just a bit further down the road. Everything should still be pretty mellow at the end of June, before the European kids let out in July, but I would still recommend calling ahead and trying to book a reservation just in case. Enjoy!!!

    What about naturism here?

      Off the main beach and on the "island" in the back is where you will see most of that. But it is Crete, so you can expect topless just about everywhere you go.

    Good evening, I would like to ask you if I can use 15-20 seconds from your video in one of my videos. Of course, I 'll give you the appropiate credits. Thank you very much in advance!!

      Where will your video be posted? I don't mind it if the credits to be visible during the portion of your video where my footage is playing.

    Hi! I really wish to see that place but I won't be driving. Do you know if there are any hotels? I can't find anything...

    • @VFCsTravels
      @VFCsTravels  5 років тому

      There are hotels in the town outside and places to stay on the way in. I'd probably recommend staying up on the north side of the island and maybe bussing down for a day or so if you won't have a vehicle.
