I have watched a number of his movies/ shows and he has quickly become one of my favorites. He has an amazing range of acting. Each character he has portrayed feels like a completely different actor. It's rare to find an actor now that has that! Excited to see what he does next!

Anyway, what I really meant to say is - it is wonderful to see an interviewer express a proper opinion and welcome the audience inside but without spilling secrets; someone after my own heart and practice in that aspect. What a lovely interview with non obvious questions and chemistry, clearly a Galitzine thing. I am one of those who have been following his career since Beat Beneath My Feet and been fascinated how he has trod his own path and so successfully dealt with the handicap of being both so handsome and so multi talented, yet still has managed to get taken seriously, show range and remain so grounded. The real deal.

You have to remember he grew up as a serious sportsman, playing football (see lakeside backyard shots in RWARB) athletics, javelin throwing, was aiming to become a professional rugby player until injury cut short that prospective career, with one of the UK's top rugby clubs, Harlequins; horse riding boxing, and from very young, specialist martial arts like krav maga and choy li fut; neither are for the faint hearted. There is a sweet shot from RWARB rehearsal (hospital closet scene) where he and TZP are crammed and laughing between red chairs. And you can tell that although TZP is gym toned, NG is all round power muscle from simply being and doing. Bulking up for the next role, perhaps?

They both were excellent. I am not sure I want a sequel though. What else can be done??

Yup, actors are usually going to be talking up the next project (aka the one with Anne) rather than a former one (even if it is their most popular project). But we all know his chemistry with Taylor was unparalleled. 🔥
The factor here, really, is that this is a very mature and wise young man who works hard to create chemistry and good working relationships with everyone he deals with - not just the actors, but also the behind the scenes crews; no class or gender judgements with this one. It is, delightfully, one of the reasons he is becoming so well regarded in the business behind and in front of the scenes. There are very few actors who get simply described as "a good company man" and especially one so young. But in the business that is the ultimate compliment, and explains how his career has accelerated - and is accelerating. I have read the book, and I think it is not so much a case of the age gap so much as using that situation for a woman in that age between ages (40ish) getting her identity and her mojo back after divorce and her child growing up to be soon ultimately move away, finding who she is now and what her power is going to become. That leap away from the 'Cougar' story appearing on her laptop, as in the trailer, is pure Anne Hathaway, and quite lovely. But the key to the film's success and credibility is actually the casting of Hayes Campbell; to find a young actor with the charisma and acting chops, never mind the ability to sing and play instruments, and step up to Anne Hathaway's ability, was never going to be easy. Unless you knew the work of Nicholas Galitzine, that is, in which case it all became simple. Galitzine had the same problem to contend with in his very first professional job,The Beat Beneath My Feet (which ten years on still stands up well and impresses) and he will do it again with this. But more so. This is going to seriously impress with ability to act sing and dance, and do all to a high degree. I am looking forward to seeing him smash this! @@bcnmanhattan5022

There's a difference between getting along great and being a good actor and truly showing a connection with fire chemistry which once you see it, everything pales in comparison. Only saw it with just one co-star!
I prepare my tea exactly like Nick, right down to pressing on the tea bag, and I'm American. Except I don't use milk because I'm not a 4 year old, lmao.
I am disappointed with the otherwise delightful Nicholas here. Any Brit with pretensions to refinement knows that you make tea in a teapot with loose leaves, not a wretched teabag for heaven's sake! Warm pot, add leaves, then pour on freshly boiled water and let the tea brew for between 3-5 minutes (according to taste and tea variety) before pouring into porcelain cups and adding milk, where necessary. And don't forget to raise your little finger when holding the cup by the handle. Rudimentary stuff, this! 😊

To glamorize Mary and George is to glamorize familial sex trafficking. Great series to start a conversation about the wrongs and how they happen to this very day. It's unfortunate that this conversation is not happening.
It is hardly glamorising. It is telling truths. This is how life and the very act of survival was at the time, whatever your age, rank, or financial standing. Life was hard. I recommend you take a look at the contemporaneous hit plays of the Elizabethan and Jacobean era: Measure For Measure and The White Devil are the two I think closest reflect George Villiers' situation.
Same! I was like UMMM 🥴 when i saw it and thought "this cant be just me right??" And then so many ppl started saying the same. I think the difference is so stark when u see him having a fire chemistry with someone like taylor. Everything else pales in comparison... You can tell its just ppl showing up to set and just do their job, even if they get along well but no deep connection or chemistry there.

I am disappointed with the otherwise delightful Nicholas here. Any Brit with pretensions to refinement knows that you make tea in a teapot with loose leaves, not a wretched teabag for heaven's sake! Warm pot, add leaves, then pour on freshly boiled water and let the tea brew for between 3-5 minutes (according to taste and tea variety) before pouring into porcelain cups and adding milk, where necessary. And don't forget to raise your little finger when holding the cup by the handle. Rudimentary stuff, this! 😊

@@luiscarracedo7793 Homes in the US don’t even have kettles. No wonder they can’t make tea - or decent filtered coffee in a plunger (French press). In the rest of the world, almost every hot drink or meal begins with a kettle.
I’m in the US and we only use an electric kettle for tea - never a microwave.

It is hardly glamorising. It is telling truths. This is how life and the very act of survival was at the time, whatever your age, rank, or financial standing. Life was hard. I recommend you take a look at the contemporaneous hit plays of the Elizabethan and Jacobean era: Measure For Measure and The White Devil are the two I think closest reflect George Villiers' situation.

Same! I was like UMMM 🥴 when i saw it and thought "this cant be just me right??" And then so many ppl started saying the same. I think the difference is so stark when u see him having a fire chemistry with someone like taylor. Everything else pales in comparison... You can tell its just ppl showing up to set and just do their job, even if they get along well but no deep connection or chemistry there.
