I have a 2022 can you tell me when it is idling should it be loud or should it be silent because to me it sounds like it is a diesel😮
Thanks for watching. The recirculation actuator can act sporadically when the engine is at idle with the 2022 model.
This is something to be aware of then ~ That could kill the battery too and not know why as well ... i see where the cabin filter goes now.. if you can get the dash board box door off

What if the noise only comes when the engine is running ? I have Honda accord and it does that but the noise is not that loud and only happens when engine running

Thanks for the follow up. Sound’s coming from the central area is usually a faulty part within the central climate control system/panel.
It’s likely that the actuator designated to the central climate control is faulty.
You can actually see our Pacifica’s central climate control actuator to the left as we move camera into area where we see the recirculation actuator for our cabin air box. 👍

just replaced ours and I must say that was a pain in the ass. I left the top bolt loose because I gave up and my wrist are cut up lol
