@@reema31 He is using TIP41C 6A transistor to easily drive a 12V fan( or load up to max 6A). If u are using 2N2222, max load are 800mA(original one and of course it wil produce a lot of heat that will kill your 2n2222). The way to implementation is the same.

Yes you can do the same projects with this sensor but code should be different.
