- Been wanting to make a Zerith GMV ever since I beat the Remake, and what better way to do it than combine it with Cloti? Two of my favorite Final Fantasy couples of all time!

I really really hate how people completely forget about Zack and don't even consider him at all for Aerith.
Crisis Core did an amazing job developing their relationship and made it clear how perfect they were for each other ❤
It also made it clear how Cloud feels about Tifa and even gave us a scene of one of the MOST affectionate things he's ever done to her lol, well in a higher resolution quality anyways lol.
Zack Fair is one of the best protagonists in the Final Fantasy universe at least in my opinion and it's just so damn heartbreaking that he originally didn't get to keep his promise and meet Aerith again...at least in the original game. I guess we'll see what happens now lol. I'm not a fan of them possibly changing up the story because I feel that it was already perfect the way it was but, if it gives us the opportunity to give Zack and Aerith a happy ending...I'm too much of a romantic to not want to see that lol. Spectacular job as always hun, you always manage to knock them outta the park.
Sad what's going on around the world right now, my heart goes out to all the families that have been affected but it truly gives me joy that I have so much Cloud and Tifa entertainment in Fan Fiction and videos to keep my mind distracted. Warms my heart that soo many people root for these two as well😊

Btw, at 2:04, the correct translation from Japanese is Tifa saying "Just thinking about it is so fun, isn't it?" to which Cloud replies "Yeah, it is" with that smile. I don't know why on Earth the English translators keep changing dialogue that has to do with Tifa especially, it's literally all over the place, while other translations don't make changes like this.
Cloti still shined through even with the changes, so it's all good!

i love this pairings Cloud's love interest is, really, it's Tifa. Tifa was who he wanted to impress since his childhood, and in a way left to join SOLDIER in order to do so. His interest in Aerith is really through his personality that he inherited from Zack. Therefor Cloud thought he loved Aerith because he essentially turned himself into a Cloud/Zack hybrid taking on some of Zacks persona and history while seemingly erasing Zacks existence from his memory his mind was warped in a trauma he personified only what he saw in Zack. Cloud becomes himself after Tifa rescues him from the lifestream

Of course you would know what show that song was from! 😄 Way to dig deep into the meat of the GMV! I did indeed pick this song since the Remake is their second chance at a “happy ending.” (As happy as FFVII can be 😂) So here’s to hoping they get one! 💕
@@sassytheeunicorn are you rooting for a happy ending? Then you would be one of the minorities. Idk why so many people are mad at SE for this. I would say I'm fine with either way, I don't care if the ending is sad or happy as long as we get a good and satisfactory story.
@@neelmaniyadav7216 I just want them to make sure all the loose ends are tied up this time around. The last ending left too much open to interpretation. I want some definitive answers. I would, of course, love a happy ending, but as long as it makes sense with the story, I would be okay with a sad one, too.
@@sassytheeunicorn deep down I also wish somehow Zack and Aerith would be alive this time, it's another thing that I would be fine even if they would end up sacrificing themselves. But what you said is true, sad or happy, it would all make sense if the story serves it right.

Many people are getting mad at SE on him being alive, but I really want to see him meeting Cloud and especially Aerith. Him and Cloud together would be so...coooolll, and his reunion with Aerith would be even sweeter. And even if he dies later differently in the remake, he at least would've met cloud and Aerith one last time. It would be so... satisfying...

This video was really good! I love all of these characters and I think this video does a good job in showing some of the wide scope of their relationships. I think FF7 and crisis core really do an amazing job creating stories and characters whose lives simulate how big and ongoing life in general is. Like even when Zack and Aerith's stories tragically end, their lives were rich and full and as such interconnected with Cloud and Tifa's, who are still living on, and the ends of their stories are still to be known. It's all just very memorable and touching.
Since Zack's fate was changed hopefully Aerith's can be changed too in part 2

I don't necessarily ship Cloti due to bad experience with their fans really but I can see it sometimes.
I do love Aerith but since in the Remake things are different now. Yes, Zack and Aerith live but things are very different now. We almost just don't know what's coming next. Cloud and Aerith met, Aerith knows a lot possibly even about her death which is why she doesn't want Cloud to hold onto her. She knows she's gonna die but something changed. She's also a growing woman and believed Zack was just playing around and despite being a Cetra she didn't know of his death or she was in denial of it. Believing he left her for some other babe. Still, people fighting over these ships really makes me upset.
Like don't you think sometimes a person should move on when they let someone else in to know them just a little deeper?
I'm sorry you had a bad experience with some Cloti fans. Unfortunately, there are some bad eggs in every fandom. BUT! There are a lot of really cool, fun people in the FFVII community, too, or so I've found. So I hope you continue to enjoy the series and find more positive people as you do!
I personally ship Cloud and Tifa because I love their story. Despite all of the obstacles that life threw at them, despite losing their homes and people they cared about (TWICE! As Tifa pointed out in the Remake) despite all the trauma and awful things that happen to them, they manage to pull through because they have each other. One of my favorite Tifa quotes is "As long as you're with me, as long as you're by my side, I won't give up, even if I'm scared." And although Cloud never verbally affirms something similar, another Cloti theme is "Actions speak louder." And he shows how much he loves her by giving her a shoulder to sleep on. By holding her hand while the Highwind is going haywire, by staying by her side till the literal end of the world... It's beautifully written, and I'm loving how they're expanding their relationship in the Remake! Though, that's not to discredit Aerith's role in either of their lives and to the story for that matter. My biggest turn off about Clerith, though, is that shippers tend to make the game's narrative revolve solely around Cloud and Aerith. They neglect the fact that Cloud isn't himself and goes through some massive trauma that isn't just about her death. They neglect the fact that Aerith had relationships and connections with everyone in the party, something the Remake is ALSO expanding on, which I'm ALSO delighted to see! Plus, once I played Crisis Core and saw how much differently (and dare I say *gasp* better!) that Zack treats Aerith, it was no contest. One of my favorite Zerith moments is the last phone call they have. Zack's face literally lights up as soon as he hears Aerith's voice. Cloud NEVER does anything like that. And if you actually play the game, you know Zack is going through some deep shit by the time she calls him. (Sephiroth just found out SOLDIERS are basically humanoid monsters.) They're so sweet. And the fact that she wrote him 89 letters over the course of four years and he only got to read one breaks my heart... It's funny. Cleriths like Cloud and Aerith together because it's "the tragic love that could never be" but that's exactly what Zerith is, only it's canon and they get a semi-happy ending because they reunite in the Lifestream! The TRUE Romeo and Juliet of FFVII, if you will.
You originally asked if I think a person should move on? I'm not sure if you were referring to Cloud moving on or Aerith moving on. I definitely believe it's healthy to do so! But I also know (from personal experience) it's not something that happens overnight. Zack dies fairly close to the start of the original game, and since it's implied Aerith "sensed" his death, I'm sure she's feeling a bunch of different emotions by the time she meets Cloud, especially considering all the similarities he shares with Zack. She even gets emotional in the park just saying Zack's name. That scene had me crying harder than when the Sector 7 plate fell! And though she says "Gotta look forward, not back," saying something is a lot different that actually doing it, though it's definitely a step in the right direction. Although, now that Zack is alive in some alternate universe, I have a feeling there's going to be some more scenes like the one in the park in future installments.
As for Cloud "moving on" from Aerith, that's debatable. It's arguable that Cloud never loved Aerith in a romantic sense. What's not arguable is that he had a childhood crush on Tifa. And after the lifestream segment of the story, he finally remembers his real self and his real emotions and how much he truly cares for her. So I don't think Cloud moved on at all because, to me, it was ALWAYS Tifa. The romantic route with Aerith in the original game is optional. The lifestream, underneath the Highwind, and ending scenes with Tifa are not. They kept it ambiguous in ACC, and so far they're doing a fairly decent job keeping it ambiguous in the Remake, too. But something tells me the love triangle debate is going to be settled once and for all by the time all the installments are out. I don't know what's going to happen, because Square Enix has proved that they can do whatever they want with the story, but I am optimistic and have faith they'll deliver because I've been very pleased with the Remake thus far!
