All I want from the end of the Remake trilogy is for Zack and Cloud to finally put an end to all this suffering, for good, together. They deserve a happier future than what Fate would've given them.

I can't remember if I commented on the pre-reupload, so I may repeat myself. What I like about 'Hollow' is that you can really see it applying to a number of the characters from FFVII, but I will admit that I think it's most interesting, and my personal favorite, when interpreted for Zack and Cloud. You do such a fantastic job exhibiting how the lyrics work for these two, and the little composer interview contributes to the whole thing rather than breaking the flow of the video. Excellent choices for all the dialogue, especially since it's coming from multiple voice actors for the same characters, it still came across organically like it was all the same person. Having the clip of Zack when Cloud is talking about Sephiroth being the best of the best, just seems like this nice nod to how Cloud's model for what a good SOLDIER was shifted over to Zack instead. I knew you were going to put Cloud's scream in just because of how the song and clips were building, and I'm so happy you went for the Japanese version. Steve Burton did a great job with Cloud, but Takahiro Sakurai's scream was just so much more raw. As a viewer, you take us all over the place emotionally, high and low. Despite how you really showcase the trauma they've gone through, you still pull off a hopeful anticipation with the clips you chose for the end. Plus, you have Cloud, Zack, AND Sephiroth in the ending stills, and I'm personally hoping for more personal drama with Sephiroth, since Zack actually has history of genuine social interaction with him.
I had a not great day. I work in emergency medical services and a not great day can be heavy. Honestly, this helped me process some of the emotions from it, so thank you.

Lol, very true. Its funny because the creator of this song even mentions and is kinda pissed (in japanese standards lol) that its heavily misunderstood. This is something cleriths associate heavily with their ship and tbh it pains me that they would always choose to put zack. Im a bit sad about it lol because zack is my favorite character. If anything, if not about zack specifically, its a song that can be attributed more so with the rest of cloud's tragedy of events rather than a romantic tribute which only really waters down/spits on the people who were all important to cloud whom he has lost. (Because they refuse to even believe that its even remotely close to zack or any other characters actually).
