Do you like Bruce Cockburn- just curious and the late, great Stan Rodgers? Sadly, Canadian artists often don't get the recognition they deserve, outside of an Ochs-ian Circle of Friends- Phil Ochs- hmmm. Past Christmas but maybe I'll start shopping early..."above that dirty bookstore" right near Lenny and Mrs. Maisel's haunts...love the music used as background and spotlight- Blossom Dearie! Louie Prima, long before you were born kids! Yes, and those hats! Word from back, back, back, "icky" or worse- what word was in Lenny Bruce's "hip jive vocabulary". Don't watch much TV anymore but love that show...And sort of off topic but not totally, Sean Rowe has movie credits and several commercials- for once an ad worth listening too- can you with your persuasive charm, get Putin to put on one of your albums, headphones, feet up and KNOCK IT OFF? A few daze ago they hit a maternity hospital- other than supporting Amnesty I feel so useless...

Brain fog and The Ukraine and life- I hope Tom is smiling, I am, as Marianne Faithfull says of his song, Strange Weather, she inhabits it- and she's right, I thought he wrote it for her- you inhabit this one and with all due respect to Your Lady, the censors at Y.T. ( The Fugs...got warned on Tuli's lady's channel) I "fell" the 1st time I heard your voice, I said something "sexy" but normal in my small circle of friends - Phil Ochs should have phoned me that dark day- The slide guitar adds a poignant? note, I LOVE MUSIC BUT DONT KNOW TECHNICAL WAY TO WRITE ABOUT IT- like Tom adds the odd Harry Partch "instrument" - unique. Got all teary eyed - gorgeous cover, adds to a "classic" and you inhabit it...Marianne Faithfull CAN DESCRIBE MUSIC ETC- THANK you ( how could ANY woman seated in a bar NOT FALL...over you) Namaste from Canada- please send snow and more importantly play here this summer, not far from glorious Toronto and our summer music festival sure could use you and Bruce Cockburn-
