I enjoy fabricating so I built this for my uncle todd. He just bought the parts I fabricated all the brakets. I drew the deer head too. I appreciate all the comments, and my uncle loves the bike.
Yes i did all myself, except paint. All parts off 2006 street glide. I think street glides are nice looking and handy for cargo so i copied it. bike and all with paint im in it for 11,900$. plus a guy takes pride in what he can build not what he can buy, also hate having something everyone else has! I've never seen any kits that look this good in my opinion! The dollar sign after the amount im young i text everything, if u understood everything it counts in my book! thanks, jay
100% fairing is no problem I've been well over 100mph nice and strong! Only thing that's went wrong is I bought a stock Harley tach to fit the fairing quit working but it was used?
Sry dude, gotta post again. As a bagger, that is sweet. I threw a set of HardStreet bags on mine. They looked so fucked up, I only ran them for about a month. I love my Raider lean and mean, but man, some bags are nice. That front fairing looks great too. The Memphis Shades batwing didnt do anything for me. Love the deer head and ignition. I too threw the coils under the tank. Bought mine new in 2012. Had a 2004 Star Warrior prior.
Wow, nice job dude. Looks great. I got V&H 2-1 on mine. The stock exhaust is pristine sitting on a shelf. I just might do the same to mine for shits and giggles. Thanks for sharing.
I have a 2009 Raider and would love to do my bike like this ... What yr harley glide did you get the parts from ??? And any tips or advice you could give would be much appreciated ... I love your bike .... Awesome job and taste ... 8)
Joseph Salazar I believe all the wiring underneath the Chrome on a gas tank at the time I believe I had the whole gas tank off but the wires were pretty easy to unzip tie and move to whatever location you want
I know ow it's been awhile since this video, but is there any way you could tell me the year of the harley bags? Thanks, this bike is beautiful. You killed it!
I just took a piece of flat stock steel and got the diameter I needed outside and inside..then had them cut it out at the metal shop with plasma machine .so it's like a half inch wide or whatever by 1/8 inch plate steel I wanted it's strong enough that it didn't warp when they chromed it and then I cut the heads off of bolts and Tack welded them on so that it goes on the Fairing and just bolts on clean no heads on chrome side.
how did you do your pipes? and did you have to reset the computer. for gas ratio? i got the 2015 raider love it, all but those stupid pipes go up down up down lol hard to put on a decent saddlebag for travel
did you have the bag brackets made or find someone who mass produced them. i have bags don't want to make myself crazy making brackets if i can just purchase them
?Can I ask you a question ?Since when did the dollar sign come after the amount .Just a simple question and I thought it wouldnt hurt to ask ,sincerely Red
Im sick of hearing about bad speaker systems you might here so.... what i did still not cheap but has everything! extreme cycle radio for 233$ then alpine 6.5 speakers with adaptors for 95$ also rockford amp piggybacking the system was 122$ now that gives you fm radio, sd card that holds 8gb of music and handlebar controls. then add a sansa mp3 player with a 32gb card 50$ holds all i own and a vizual name to the tracks. its way loud at 80 mph over that wind takes over about any system. 500$
I made them basically I used the stock upright harley brackets and bought stainless steel t bar hose clamps that fit on the fork tubes and slid a little rubber between fork and clamp. I then welded the stock harley brackets to those hose clamps the t bar bolt part of it! Just a light tack weld then carefully took them off and welded them good on the bench. Works awesome been up too 125mph no problems!
Ebay really hard too find this tight of a 90 degree angle with no wrinkles in them. There are actually two pipes welded together to make it smooth predone I'm a guy on eBay I'll see if I can find what was in my history it was many years ago
I made a template to batch fender stay bolts then a template to match Harley bolts then I put them togeather with spacers so they didn't hit fenders. then weld down pipes between tire and bag in Stock bag location. then pye a bracket behind passenger peg location with a pipe welded to that that goes under the bag for support . then weld those 2 pipes togeather. and u got a bag bracket. I think the exhaust side I used the exhaust hanger bracket though.
Being the uncle he built it for I love this bike I also love my nephew for doing all the hard work
Such a beautiful bike

Badass bike you got there! I love the street glide look.
Just came across this video.... I am looking to do stretched bags on my raider. Would love some tips.
Will defiantly look up your pictorials on the bagg mounting. As well as info on your pipe mods.

I love this bike....
Thank you
superbe! marvellous bike
I actually have it all coming ... waiting on bags to come today... 8)
Sick bike. How did you move and mount your ignition. I’ve been wanting to do that to my raider.
Joseph Salazar I believe all the wiring underneath the Chrome on a gas tank at the time I believe I had the whole gas tank off but the wires were pretty easy to unzip tie and move to whatever location you want
Great Job, we're those modifications really expensive? Particularly the fairing & baggs...
I know ow it's been awhile since this video, but is there any way you could tell me the year of the harley bags? Thanks, this bike is beautiful. You killed it!
I believe they were 2006 but there all pretty much the same unless there police bags or way newer with the latches on the inside?
really nice! do the bags come off without any trouble, what type bracket did you use on the bags, again really nice, john
Very nicely done !!
it looks nice. i like the key relocation. how did you do it?
How well is that faring holding up?
PLEASE tell me where you got the bags and mounting hardware
Very nice work sir. I'm building a Raider bagger as we speak. I have a question about your headlight ring, how or what did you construct that out of?
I just took a piece of flat stock steel and got the diameter I needed outside and inside..then had them cut it out at the metal shop with plasma machine .so it's like a half inch wide or whatever by 1/8 inch plate steel I wanted it's strong enough that it didn't warp when they chromed it and then I cut the heads off of bolts and Tack welded them on so that it goes on the Fairing and just bolts on clean no heads on chrome side.
@@jayhansen5544 Thanks for the information sir.

I drew it and had metal shop cut it out . welded mounts on the back and sent it out to Chrome plating.

Any pictures of your mounts you used for the Saddlebags?
Ill do a little digging but its my uncles bike i did for him. He lives 4 hrs away, by lake michigan.
Nice steel...
Thanks, ill check the site out.
sweet bike
Awesome Raider man! Good job on the custom work! Did you do everything yourself or was it a local shop?
What mount did you use for your Fairing I'm having trouble finding one for my 2008 raider
There are kits for Raiders to do this and its not from Hardly Davidson
Nice..
What type of fairing you have, is that Memphis Shades?
Nao. street glide inner and outer and saddle bags!
Very nice ....
Beauty👌👌👌
Pretty
Where did you get the 90s for the exhaust?!?
Ebay really hard too find this tight of a 90 degree angle with no wrinkles in them. There are actually two pipes welded together to make it smooth predone I'm a guy on eBay I'll see if I can find what was in my history it was many years ago
what bracket did you use to mount the harley hardbags? thanks

Thats awesome. I wish they made a bagger version of the raider. Like a badass one. The other yamaha baggers look like shit tbh
Nice, but gotta change those grips. So much vibration through those grips and uncomfortable.
nice job men!!:))) i liked
Nice
I got 2 videos on the exhaust mod on youtube
What MP3 player is that?
I gotta check but it's a Sansa mp3 player I believe fuse its called
BMF !
