Happy thanksgiving buddy! Congratulations for all the new gear and it would be amazing to have short videos explaining how you use an specific plugin just for sound post production, like the Fabfiler C2
Hey Thomas re the WD Black SN850X, you should be getting *WAY* better speed out of that. I have 2x 4TB of those hanging off my M2 Ultra Mac Studio in Acasis Thunderbolt 4 enclosures and they do ~2800MB/s read/write which is typically max for Thunderbolt 4. Sounds like it's being limited by a USB 3.0 bus somewhere in the chain if you're only getting 500MB/s. Highly recommend Acasis stuff, they've been rock solid for me and well priced for thunderbolt. Also, hi from a fellow audio guy! Always find your content interesting to see how other people approach things. Keep it coming 🙂 Pete.
Hopefully we get to see a deep dive on the Oria! I’ve asked audient and they say you can set a default ref level (79dB) but I’ve never actually seen it be done. Would also love to see a potential workflow of recording adr and switching to surround playback with a profile. Cheers!
hi tom, glad to see your upgrades, i want to ask you an opinion, if i want to have a machine for audio post, would you reccomend to buy a mac studio with 32 gb of ram or is not enough, hom much ram your mac has? i usually do full scale projects (so dialoguw, sfx, music editing and mixing)
Glad to hear your decision on sticking it out! I look forward to more future videos, and it would be awesome to see you dive into ATMOS.
It’ll be a learning experience for me but I looking forward to bringing you guys along
Glad you’re sticking it out Tom! Love seeing all of the investments and upgrades to your space. Wicked wicked wicked

Pete.
Really glad you’re sticking it out and able to afford the upgrades! It’s inspirational!
Me too
Hi Thomas, please make a video on how you will or have transformed your current 5.1 mix template into Atmos template.
Good idea

32 is enough for sound. Upgrade when you grow into more complex and bigger projects.
I got 64gb of ram in mine
Congratulations Thomas! How about those ARA plugins?
Not messing with em yet, heard bad things
😂😂 Fair enough
Hi Thomas
I hope you are doing good.
Thanks for the video I am interested about the controller
Ok, I'll figure out how to do the giveaway
