As someone who watched Ultraman Trigger 2 1/2 years ago, and left many comments reactions on the series, the decision to make Dark Trigger not only a separate entity, but also give him an electrifying storyline in Episodes 11 and 12, and a new identity in Ignis as DT 2.0 in the second half of Trigger, was, as Akiko Hijiri would say " Saved It "....the Series that is. No one knew what role Ignis would play, but from episodes 16, 17, 21, 22, 24, 25 and the Trigger Finale Movie, plus Stages 3 and 4 of Trigger's stage performances, Stages 1, 4, and 5 part 1 of Decker's stage performances, it was the best thing that ever happened to actually make Trigger that much fun. But the biggest surprise was the return of Ignis, from his participation during TsuboCon almost a month ago, to his long awaited return in the upcoming sequel to New Generation Stars starting NEXT week after Blazar's series finale THIS week. How many of us were waiting to see Ignis return, A LOT! This video proves two things: one, you can't keep a certain handsomely sexy GOOD Dark Champion out of the spotlight and two...well, welcome back Kei Hosogai, welcome back Dark Trigger 2.0, and reignite the future, revel in the deep darkness, guided by the light... what a six month journey we're going to have, now that Blazar joins the New Generation Heroes roster. Hopefully we'll see him in action.....and maybe a new weapon from that Mecha Musashin sword, he's due for such an upgrade, and joined by Z's Yoko and Mountain Gulliver 2-5 from Stage 2 of Decker's stage performance back in 2022. Hopefully the final episode of Ultraman Blazar will be one for the history books, because the series has been on a hot streak throughout the past six months and I would like to see if it's on par with Z. Thanks for showing this video showcase of Ignis, aka the GOOD Dark Champion, Dark Trigger 2.0! If only next Friday could come fast enough!
