I do not think this is bland in any way. The reactions might be a bit late, but it's plenty compared to some other reactions. And the reactions themselves are interesting to read and observe. I love the denial going on when Grian is revealed to be a Watcher and part of EVO.

Yeah, it's an AU where he just mentally broke after everything he went through, in the end he felt as if he was just annoying to everyone and making their lives more difficult, tbh there's not really a set timeline for the AU.
