    I bought one of these back in 2014 which I believe was the first time dirt trax reviewed it? Anyway, it's still going, still solid. Has a wet clutch so I'm not burning through belts like my Rzr and Maverick owning friends (still has OEM belt). Sure it's not as fast but I'm not racing either. Some details here and there like the shocks rubbing the springs on the earlier models like mine. But it's held up over the past few years and I'm happy with the purchase.

    A decent machine for those who want to play more then work the machine. It would be too small for me so I would be more inclined to use something like a Mahindra 750 mPact XTV or the diesel model. I've sat in one and looked at the features and thought it would be more suitable for my needs. A Side by Side would be more practical with a cab for as much year round use as possible. Heat would be more important then air conditioning.

    Are you guys going to review the ZForce 1000 I'm really curious in cfmoto's 1000 sxs and atv

  • @desertdrz7618

    To be fair can am's maverick trail 800 only makes 51 hp so 63 in the cf moto is pretty good for an 800.

    I'm looking at a 2020 at my local dealer now. I've been watching reviews for the last couple years and for the most part people seem to really like them now. I'm seeing more and more on the trails also. The z800 ex 60" is 12490 out the door, I could get a stripped down rzr 900s for about 1500 more but by the time you get a roof, winch , bumpers and stuff your another 1800 bucks in. I know the rzr has a little more speed but in my area its tighter trails where 40 45 is screaming. Think I'm going to pull the trigger

    In the name of competition. Between it and the Arctic cat. Isn't the rzr 900 in this machines class.?? 50" wide 75 hp sounds higher 60hp. Or am I wrong?

      To me there is a huge difference between assembled in China, and assembled in the usa or Canada or Japan with some chinese parts. I did go look at one and thought it was a decent enough vehicle but I ultimately bought a Can-AM.

      In 2018, Made in USA is more identified with shitty quality than Made in China imo, depending on what you are buying.. I.e. I've got all Whirlpool Appliances (Made in USA) and I've had 2 recalls and 3 warranty issues in the first year of owning them.
      I've got Maytag Dryer/Washers (made in china) that were 10 years old still running, never 1 issue.
      Imo, country of origin, is more a nationalism/patriotism issue these days than a quality issue. I do want to support my countries internal economy, but when it comes to me dropping $25,000 vs $12,000 on a brand new SxS, I'm probably going to a cfmoto...

    How much does this cost

  • @SpartanZapp
    @SpartanZapp 7 років тому +5

    Any competition is competition. A 60" class. (Stand corrected some I just rewatched) and over 60hp. Is a direct description of a RZR 900 s eps. Which is a 75 hp Machine. And cost shouldn't be a factor in ruling it out if it's competition. Whether it's $500 or $5,000. It's still competition

    • @joshsorenson22
      @joshsorenson22 6 років тому +1

      DuramaxDriven i mean i kinda see your point but you say cost isnt a factor but thats like comparing a Mercedes-Benz S-Class to a ford focus and saying well their both 4 door sedans and the same customers consider both of those cars as competition.

    • @SpartanZapp
      @SpartanZapp 6 років тому +1

      joshsorenson22 if it's a comparison of competition. A zl1 1le camaro competes with Porsches 911. If $56000 Camaros compete with $200000 Porsches why is that allowed comparison but a RZR vs cfmoto isnt

    • @joshsorenson22
      @joshsorenson22 6 років тому +1

      Because man the same people who can afford a Camero and are willing to buy one arent the same people who can afford to buy that Porsche or are willing to. Im not saying your wrong im just saying i think the price point is pretty important to customers. Like i would buy one of these but not a rzr turbo or maverick because 10k vs 20k plus means i cant justify or afford those more expensive machines so to me they arent even considered to me the customer.

    • @SpartanZapp
      @SpartanZapp 6 років тому

      joshsorenson22 than why is the Arctic cat considered when he says it's a comparible machine. Yet Arctic cat is also expensive. A RZR 900 eps is $14500 ish.

    • @SpartanZapp
      @SpartanZapp 6 років тому

      And technically said Arctic cat is only $200 cheaper

  • @Henrikoppermann

    #SMH First video I've ever disliked.... Plenty of 60" SXS on the market to compare it too... Artic Cat is a 700cc! So tell me why that's the only one to compare it too? RZR has 900s & Maverick has 60" model... Only want to compare it to a smaller & cheaper machine? I get that but its not the "only" competition on the market... It is the cheapest & I'm sure you get what you pay for...

    • @dirttraxtv
      @dirttraxtv  7 років тому +1

      I think Luke was speaking to HP comparison as the Can Am and Polaris 60"ers are pushing almost 25% more HP. Yes they could be considered competition if you go by width but I believe he's referring to HP as the categorization. It's hard nowadays to really pick class when we have so many reference points. It used to be strictly engine displacement, then it was displacement and width, now we really have to look at HP and Width as it's so dramatically different. Actually this seems like a good story topic to discuss.... maybe I'll do that.... ~AJ

    • @TheCableGuy1981
      @TheCableGuy1981 7 років тому +1

      @AJ... The market is definitely flooded with SXS to choose from nowadays. I think that would be a great story topic to discuss, with so many new riders buying machings they maybe comparing apples to oranges.
      I always look forward to seeing your new videos. You guys have one of the better pages to watch. I'm definitely can't wait to see that Can Am Outlander mud bike in action!!!

    I can't get over the Poor Cargo load and TOWING.. I am 240 lbs..Add my passenger, Add a Canoe Rack, gear, Chain saw, box in the back Extra Gas. I'm at that 550 LBS capacity pretty Quick. I think that all these Side by sides.. should have at least a 1000 lbs min towing.
    My Family bought a 17 Yamaha Wolverine LE and it handles all that plus good towing, good shocks and less price then the CF Moto in my area. It was 2000 less...Thats ALOT!!

    • @michaelbury1941

      otahu Rice it’s because the Wolverine is a sport utility SBS. The Zforce is sport only. The Uforce is their utility line. They don’t have a sport-utility line yet.

      Junk? Ever hear of BMW, Mercury Marine, Honda Marine, Arctic Cat, Kawasaki, Vespa? These and many other manufacturers have many of their motors built in China by the same companies. The rest of the components are off the shelf. I also own a CSC 250 motorcycle from China and it, too is an unbeatable value and trouble-free. PS. My local CF Moto dealer is jammed repairing RZR's but not CF Moto's. Here in the rocks of Arizona you break RZR shafts all the time.
