I don't do much wire work because it hurts my wrist. I mostly do stitching, but this video was really easy to follow and very clear. I was very surprise at the end result. I was very happy. I love all the videos Beadaholique make. I have learned a lot watching your videos. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge of jewelry making with us. You biggest fan, Sara.
This was one of the first tutorials I fell in love with when I was first learning to wrap several years ago. I made this bracelet in different beads, at least a dozen different styles. My friends were amazed. I just wanted to come back, watch again & thank you once more for being such a patient, sweet teacher. Your tutorials are still some of the best I've watched. I've come quite a long way in the wrapping world since then & in big part because of you. Thank you sweet friend! I truly appreciate you helping me to get my start in what has become a fairly lucrative business & my favorite hobby of all time. Since I ended up gifting all of this style bracelet I think it is now time to make one for myself! ❤
I don't think think it was slow, the whole thing was beautifully done.....a master piece!!!!! I enjoyed every minute of it......fantastic. Keep it coming.
Thank you so much for sharing this amazing video. And giving me inspiration to make my daughter beautiful jewelry. I loved this video because you were to the point, direction, and very clear understanding of what to do to make beautiful things! Ty xo
Yep, I used flat beads to show an easy way to achieve the wire wrapped look for beginners. I'm not exactly a wire wrapping wiz, so I found it to be a great way to start. :)
I'd experiment and see how it holds its shape. You can try to harden it once you shape it by hammering it or using a wire wacker, and see if it gets hard enough to work for a clasp.
That would be the more classic wire wrapped stone setting using square and half round wires. Watch our video How to Make a Wire Wrapped Stone Setting for more information on that type of setting.
Thank you for doing a tutorial on this - very helpful - (I went to look at the videos of those who had advice on camera, telling you you made it too hard, advice on how to talk, interesting they either don't have ANY videos or they're really not interesting enough to watch ... /sigh --- anywayz :) I loved it and learned much, thanks again.
Thank you for sharing, my wife recently introduced me to beading. I've made her several pieces already, I wanted to try the wire wrapping technique. Well illustrated video.
Very nice.... I have a quick question I just recently bought copper silver plated 16g wire. I was wondering since plus very easy to bend could they still be used as "s" shape clasp?
Our tutorials are intended to teach you new techniques and inspire you to create your own designs. The actual designs themselves are for personal use only, and are not to be used for commercial purposes, as patterns or in finished form.
That's very lovely.❤ I always enjoy your tutorials. I was almost 11 minutes into it though before I realized you were using a drilled bead (that's my bad). Now I'll have to get some beads so I can give this beauty a try! 😊 Do you have any tutorials for a cuff bracelet using an undrilled cabochon? I'm getting my first gemstone cabs and desperately need help. LOL! Thank you so much for sharing! 😊 EDIT: Oooops! I just realized this is an old post.
Beautiful! I have a lot of small gem stones that do not have holes going through them. I have stones that run from 1/4 carat up to 5 carats and larger. I need to learn how I can use wire to set these stones into jewelry. Can you show me how to do that?
Gorgeous. If you used 3 wires each instead of 2, you could probably do the bendy thing on both sides and not need the bead to have a hole through it. (Hope I explained that clearly lol) Would be more difficult though.

it says to use thick wire. I have never seen it called thick before. I would change a couple things, please tell me the type wire your using. I use med. soft, and it always comes out perfect. Also, is it soft? med soft wire?

Hi David, we don't carry all the supplies needed to make this project these days (Specifically we haven't been able to find a new supplier for the turquoise) but the cost for the materials used to be $17.99. You'd be getting extra wire at that price, so your cost per bracelet would be lower when making multiples. We do ask that you use our designs as inspiration, and for personal use and gifting only. Please not do not sell our designer's work. But since we don't carry these beads anymore I think you'll have an easy time adapting these techniques into works of your own ; ) If you're new to selling your jewelry we did a live video class a few months ago with tips for how and where to sell your jewelry and how to price it, you can watch that here: facebook.com/Beadaholique/videos/10154042105096864/

Fun & Easy.....thank you for sharing :)
Like it, will try.
That was beautiful. Thanks for the tutorial. How would you best attach the links to one another?
I used these links in my Desert Shores Bracelet, in which I simply used jump rings. I used two jump rings to join each pair of links together.
:-) Thanks so much for the reply. I tried making one- it came out beautifully! I can't thank you enough! :-D
Thank you so much! I love it!...Can't wait to make my own! =)
Donde consigo las pinsas .gracias

Very cute
Lovely.
This method is way harder than it needs to be. Typically, the frame face is bent last to keep the bead captive. There's no need to pre-bend them.
I gave up! I will try this at another time.
Awesome.
I Like It.
How could I make clip-on earrings with those links?
