Lucas oil stabilizer/Oil Change

I have a 1997 Toyota my motor started rattling until I put oil in it when I put oil in it it keeps rattling and when I start it up it starts up when I put it in drive it shuts off so what can I use

Well check if you overfilled the oil if you are good there see if you have a restriction in the intake perhaps the air filter is plugged up and the engine can't breathe turning off when you put it in drive. It could also be an issue with the throttle body / idle air control. It could also be a restriction in the fuel line / a plugged up fuel filter or a bad fuel pump . If you hot rod your car it might have an internal issue in the engine maybe skipped timing/ bad valve train if it was oil starved.

@@preludevibes yes but my car rattles my oil light was on I didn't pay no mind to it I put oil in it it starts up when I raise it up it stays running when I get off the gas pedal shuts off

You put too much lucas
It about 20%

He said it holds 5 quarts . 1 quart of Lucas is 20% .
