This weeks video we’re going to be putting two drugstore liquid highlighters to the test, the GLOW MON AMOUR by L’Oreal and the Makeup Revolution Liquid highlighter.

The L'Oreal works really well under their tinted serum with hyaluronic acid. I'm older & tend to go for the natural, "less is more" look anyway. They feel superb & silky on the skin once they've dried (20 secs).

Woah, Your makeup seems so natural, smooth! Do you have any tips on how your makeup looks so natural / smooth? I watch the video in 2020, because I was curious about "L'Oréal Paris highlighter" I ordered it because of this video! I bought it for 7.99 euros, normally 15.99 for one! Normally for the price I wouldn't buy it, now I want to try it:D (Little question: Do you apply this highlighter to a matte foundation or does it not matter?)

I think the Mon Amour highlighter is messier because of it's viscosity. It seems to be slightly thicker than the MR.
First product she used 3:05, second 4:20, too much blablabalabla oohhh

Yes! You can mix both products with either, my favourite is mixing with moisturiser on my body for a health glow x

L’Oréal product completely messes up my fenty beauty base. Dissolves it
The first ingredient in the L'Oreal glow drops is hydrogenated Polyisobutene, which is a mineral oil substitute. It's not a good idea to mix oil based products like this one with liquid foundations that are silicone based, i.e. the Fenty one. The tend to not mix--sort of like oil and vinegar. That's why it's breaking it up. I am sure the drops are great so long as you wear it on bare skin or on an oil/cream/ [maybe] water foundation. Or basically any foundation that doesn't have a silicone/silicone derivative in the first 5 or so ingredients. I hope that helps!

@@barbsgl hi dear I want to think it would so long as you just use them as a highlight on top of your cheekbones once the foundation has already set. I've had crappy experiences with anything other than silicone based glowy primers and silicone foundations being mixed. I know people have been mixing stuff more but idk I'm not going to risk that stuff pilling on my face as I'm walking out the door Haha. That same loreal collection has a glowy primer which is quite good which you could use under the foundation if you want !
