As i have noticed that in your model in auto brightness sensor there is LED indicator light blinking but in my monitor there is no LED light in Auto Brightness Sensor. Is it Okay or need to do anything for this service / facility enabled ? My second question is i want to purchase another monitor for my office work. I like its GW2790 also. is it suitable for 27inch screen for 1080p ? No gaming only office work.

Do the text and interface look sharp with mac? Because macs currently don't support subpixel anti-aliasing due to some reason. That's why for better PPI I'm going with the 24 inch version (GW2490) instead of 27.
the GW2490 offers 93ppi and in our use of the GW2490T there's a separate mode for coding & reading in the GW2490T which made it look better. Macs don't support it because MacOS's original settings are optimized to Apple's hardware. Therefore the subpixel rendering has been disabled by default, since Mojave. It means that now the text looks fine in HighDPI panels (Retina Displays) but odd in StandardDPI (Non-Retina Displays), in which they appear to be pixelated or chopped. I tried the BenQ GW2283 but the stand is a little too high so the top of the monitor is a little above eye level. Dont Buy Benq GW 2490😓 series waste of money dont take it give lot of troubles(after 4days use only....yellow shadeon righside of monitor) service engineer come after 10day of service call log and he said this problem i report in job sheet but .no support benq im faceing replacement problem since june month till now no solution they asky silly qustions like {what is ur purpose ot this monitor} and deny replace ment you have call daily for your update😡

We believe it's a great choice. Refresh Rate plays a major role during gaming sessions. For coding, we do think it would be fine.
