I can't remember what you said your skin "issue" was when you first had it, but I get dermatitis on my face maybe once every two years and what always helps it go away fast is using a gentle cleanser without sulfates and calendula cream instead of face moisturizer. The calendula cream is a miracle worker! I've figured out that if I use anything with coconut oil or cinnamon on my face, the dermatitis will come back. I was told by my dermatologist it can help to also remove sulfates in my hair care and use fluoride free toothpaste. Hope that maybe helps you!
