I would rather have Rondo's handles and passing ability (in his prime) than anybody in the NBA right now. Wall, Irving, Curry, you name it. Rondo could zip passes so smoothly and quickly and his behind the back fake could fool anybody he wanted. Hopefully the Rondo we saw with the Bulls in the playoffs comes out more often. When Rondo gets the ball and isn't conflicting with coaches, he can do some magical things.

What amazes me about Rondo is how unpredictable he is. You’ll never know what he’s gonna do. In this video there are a few actions where I was sure he was gonna pass it to a man but he passed it to another more open or he found a good shot for himself. Truth be told, often his unpredictability involves a lot of turn overs and bad actions, especially today that he’s like 35 year old or so. But prime Rondo was an amazing, maybe a little bit overlooked, player.
