Glad to see alec Baldwin still doing stuff after the accident
Ahaha
Before you wrap your ribs generously spray with apple cider vinegar and apple juice. Trap/ wrap the ribs and return for 1 hour they will be more tender
Thanks for showing the cleaning.
Just got my smoker and this helped out a ton, thank you!
Why this series 3 looks like it much better than the pro series 4?
Thanks for posting ! I'm thinking about buying one of these.
Excellent video! Thank you for a great overview!
Great job on those ribs, the meat falling off the bone is a tad overrated in my personal opinion. I like the meat to be a little more firm rather then falling apart.
Same. I want my bones to be like 99% clean but I want to have to pull the meat off with my teeth, not just have it fall off on it's own by lifting the rib.
First time using a pit boss and smoking, wish me luck guys.
Good Luck then!
This was the first video I found before using mine! Thanks for the great information!
looks good contemplating buying this one
My smoker is actually catching on fire…. Is that normal???
This was really helpful. Thanks.
What temperature not sure.... does it stay on smoke?
Need your advice. Can you roast 4x 3kg beef roasts all at the same time?
I cooked ribs and brisket couldn't taste much smokey flavour at all I used hickory pellets brand was traeger wasn't happy at all do you recommend a good brand pellet
sorry for my late answer. I recommend LUMBERJACK
Do you know why the screen isn’t working ? My dad has one but the screen doesn’t light up but buttons work
I guess it's a plug connexion. If not it must be the LED pannel. In both cases, call the warranty.
Looking at 1 like this but never had pellet smoker still contemplating getting in been told could use it like a oven?220c?
How long total do you smoke your ribs before wrapped them in the foil?
2 hours
After it is going it shows:F5:17 What does this mean?
So did you cook those sausages and baby back ribs on the “smoke setting” or only used that to preheat? Or is the Other temperatures for bbq??
Smoke mode is used to start the bbq. Then I set it to 110 celcius. 225F
So the heat actually comes from the pellets burning, not a heating element?
Correct !
@@BBQChefRohan Thank You!!!
how long does the water pan last before refill? i guess we can always add a bigger water pan on the shelf above
Hello. I guess you're not the real John Mayer of your profile picture. If yes we need to talk! ahaha. Depending on the temperature, the water pan will last between 1 and 3 hours. Yes, you can place another one on the upper shelf if you want.
What Phillips kettle is that and what Pit Boss BBQ is that in the background? Thank you my friend :)
Phillips kettle? The other one is a pit boss tailgater
@@BBQChefRohan So sorry my mistake. And thank you I like Pit Boss products and I’m thinking of which one to get, thanks for the quick response :)
I'm looking into this series do you have any more information on the unit itself
What kind of information do you need?
@@BBQChefRohan Nevermind I actually went and bought it the other day and I absolutely love it
Gracias!
Nice informative video. By the way where did you buy your smoker. I like the black color but I don’t see that option on there website Thanks
Whats the difference between Pit Boss vertical smoker and Louisiana vertical smoker other than the size?
Hmmm, you get the point. There is none
I mean none that I know
Thanks for the video. So 3 years later. Do you still use this smoker or did you move on to a better smoker?
Hi, I just used it 2 or 3 times then I get rid of it. I'm a stick burner guy.
Can i use woodchip on this smoker.
No. It’s a pellet only grill.
can this also be used as a heater for a 500 sq ft room
Ahahah, You should ask Pit Boss. Lol
What cleaner are you using?
The trick is not in the cleaner. The trick is to clean it very often. I use a simple degreaser and hot water.
Do you leave it on smoker or change it to temperature settings
I raise the temp to 225F
Question, what are you using to clean it? I just got mine today, doing initial burn-in this weekend probably.
Regarding cleaning, is it required for this type of smoker? My Summit Charcoal doesn't really get the innards cleaned outside of ash buildup.
Hi, I use a simple kitchen degreaser spray. Then I rinse with lukewarm clean water.
@@BBQChefRohan Do you also use a spray bottle to rinse?
I purchased one today and doing my first test tomorrow with some ribs. So did you cook the ribs on just the smoke setting?
Hello. No I always smoke at 225-250F. The smoke setting is only to preheat the smoker.
@@BBQChefRohan awesome thank you 😊
@@BBQChefRohan how do you smoke at 225-250 when the highest the temperature knob goes to is 204? Is it on Celcius or something?
bro u are wiping off the seasoning! you need to let that seasoning build up on the walls
Bonjour,
Est-il possible de faire du fumage à froid avec ce fumoir?
Merci
Bonjour. La température minimale est de 65°c. Mais si vous utilisez un tube de fumage alors oui sans souci.
@@BBQChefRohan merci infiniment pour le retour
I don't remember him from friends.......
Looks good but needs charvoal , this is all uhh
