Brilliant idea using the painters tape. Think I'll use that method when I fit mine. Looks much easier.
Very nice instructional video! Installed the same deals on my Rav4. After a couple months, the adhesive on mine began to loosen up at the upper corner section of the driver and passenger side doors.
Clean, straightforward and simple video instructions 👍🏾
Bro, thank you so much for this. I’m horrible at doing even the simplest things when it comes to my car and was so worried that I’d mess up.
Glad it helped
Why is it that I purchased these exact ones you have and the driver and passenger side still show about an inch of chrome next to the side mirrors?
Any Toyota RAV4 bug deflector installation?
Awesome vid, just bought some for my 2020 XLE. I’m thinking about getting a bunch of carbon fiber accessories for my rav from the brand RQING from amazon. Door handle, interior, mirror covers, etc.
Nice! I am not a carbon fiber type of people but it should look nice from what I have seen.
Still stickin’ ?? 🤠
@@flodask8ing21 yes! And they look so dang good! Not a lot of gen 5 rav 4’s have them but it makes it look so good!
@@JR-oi2cf I bought them and have had them on for 1 week so far on my 2021 RAV. They rock!
This the genuine toyota one? And is the process the same?
My fiancée don’t want the visors. But my question is why Toyota gotta make that part chrome and not black lol!
It weird. I don't think it's cheaper to have chrome as opposed to black plastic...
True, just bought some to cover the chrome, also in the process of getting my rav 4 rims powder coated black. Ready to start blacking it out, it’s the metallic dark grey color. 2020 XLE
I hear most people don't recommend inside ones vs stick on? What's your take
Is this just an aesthetic thing or is there a specific purpose for these? Thank you.
These allow you to open your windows slightly in the rain without getting the insides wet.
Great video. Do you know if these are strong enough to stay on through carwash machines? I'm hesitant about how long they will last on.
I've never taken mine through a car wash (I wash myself) but given how low profile these are, I do not think there would be any issue with it. I think they are held on just as strong as the badges on the trunk. Let me know if you go.
I haven’t personally, but I’m part of the rav4 2019/2020 Facebook page and that question comes up a lot. Everyone that has these visors and has taken them through a car wash (from what I’ve read) have never had a single problem. So you’re probably fine. You could always join the group and ask yourself though, if this isn’t enough to convince you. Just put these on my 2020 LE.
Does this help cut wind noise?
They could but I think the gap between the window and the window frame is not an issue with the Rav4.
Can they hold up going through car watches? I have the in channel where it fits in the window channel...no tape.
I have never gone through a car wash but I know people who have these installed and have not lost it yet.
Do these help with the wind wobble sound when windows are down?
No. You still get that sound
Can we remove it without scratch or leaving rest on the original?
I do not know yet. I will probably never remove. Any reside that is remaining can probably be removed with soap, water, and sponge.
Can't see them allowing much if any air into the vehicle...
It’s more so to keep the water out I would say.
Hello what brand and any link?
Link in the description if it is available to purchase.
The in channels are the best not these stick on ones
Those can scratch the glass with time if you have dirty windows. Be careful.
