@@somepersonontheinternet.the sad thing is I don’t think Liam intended on dolls father ever becoming a character outside of dolls backstory/flashback and a motive to try to kill V. Blanter Dang’s video debunking him definitely shed light on that with how little we know about him. And in the collab video Blanter made an epic concept on how he could’ve been at least seen alive. Heck he don’t even got a name! We can only call him dolls father! And he was seen for seconds (alive) before given the chop. thought he definitely could’ve been at least given a name I feel like he was one of those characters meant to be ignored. Thad however looked like he was gonna be much more involved in this series before episode 3. He was Uzi’s original love interest, at the time (before meeting N) the kindest character who was interested in Uzi and didn’t bully her, he had a decent amount of fans rooting for him as well. Now we’re at the near end of this series. He’s had hardly any appearances since and we know nothing more about him than we did before outside of him being a fan of football. It’s like the script gave him the boot! I just feel like he could’ve been so much more. Even if the show began drift out of his league. (Sorry if this is gigantic.)
Thad is such a cool and chill dude. He's not hateable, cringe, and also intolerable unlike the other WD. He's just genuinely a nice guy that is fun to be around. And would absolutely be friends with anyone, even DDs if your cool and friendly enough like N. He's like a ride or die friend. Gotta be interesting what he will do in the finale with Lizzy, Khan, and J.
4:48 Now this is how I'd use Thad in ep 4: To use that i would have made him go with N after him and V argue, then N and Thad split to find uzi faster N goes to that control station and finds the zombie drones tape and Thad goes near the houses where uzi was, after uzi kills all of her classmates and is about to kill Lizzy Thad stops her and tries to resonate with her, she hesitates and insted of killing she pushes him away and goes to attack lizzy and V saves her. After the fight Thad goes to N and Uzi and asks them what happened and if they are ok, uzi responds that she is pretty confused right now but she thinks that all of this happened because of the thing named absolutely solver that they saw in ep 2, then they go to the bus and the episode ends. Not really a very important role in the episode but at least he gets used for something
How I undestand it Thad got demoted to a secondary character after ep 2, he wasnt seen as Liam himself said they moved away from the school drama in the show. Also his relationship with Uzi got redconned for whatever reason (I personally believe it was just fan service to Nuzi shippers but I cant proove that). This redconning left him pretty detached from the show and making him not Uzi's love interest subsequently fucked over V even more
Would have love to see Thad interact with the different characters more, like see his reaction to Uzi and Doll going on their killing sprees or maybe V or Thad talk to each like how Uzi and Thad did it in the pilot and softer her opinion on the workers and even apologize for stabbing him in the shoulder (lmao). Honestly, they escalated the show too quickly and hurt the development of every character(Including Thad). Unless season 1 was just a "simulation" or Cyn resets the univese or a Murder Drones reboot I doubt every is gonna get the necessary development in ep8. I doubt we would be getting any serious MD content for years to come even if Glitch decides to revisit it. So many missed opportunities.
Even though Thad as barely appeared since ep 2 we all still love him and I can’t wait to see him in ep 8 where he hopefully tries to kick cyn a$$ that would be epic 😁
i like the fact how in episode 7 of murder drones khan is trying to be a better father for Uzi, also a lot of people think that n is going to die in episode 8 but i have a theory that khan would die... also murder drones have been foreshadowing stuff such as cynessa appearing in episode 4, and they were maybe foreshadowing khan's sacrifice in episode 2 because in episode 2 eldritch j kills khan, but that was just a hologram also there's a new murder drones leak on the glitch productions community section
I actually made a fanfic about thad and him joining N, V, and Uzi's group in stopping cyn, I think he could've been given so much more to do in this show and the fact he was just wasted infuriates me because they had a PERFECT setup for him to be a major player in episode 4. I am happy he got to do SOMETHING in episode 8 given uzi wouldn't have been able to get the railgun without his throw.
simple, he got "curtined" by the narrative alongside with anyone else from the colony like lizzy, which can be portrayed as we might get some filler episodes after the season 1 finale to fill the void between season 1 and season 2 because the show desperately needs filler episodes to flesh the show out
@@espeon030filler episodes are episodes made to be in between preexisting/plot episodes. So it would still be just one season but with episodes in between other preexisting episodes to further flesh out the characters and story. Really random but why do people call teasers "leaks" now?? I swear isnt a leak something that was revealed by someone thats not a creator of the leaked thing? And isnt a teaser something officially shown by a creator?? Like did the generations mess the words up again or am i just going insane?
Alright, since everbody else is doing it, Its time to throw my hat on the ring and write ideas for Thad's character and how he should have been intertwined into the episodes. The best solution in my opinion would be to make him like a glass brother. Meaning that while N, V and Uzi are all suffering from serious emotional baggage, Thad serves as something of a moral anchor for them. Episodes 1 & 2 - no changes needed Episode 3 - Have Khan send Thad and Uzi to prom but the two find out about Doll and meet with N. He probably would also be in the fight. Episode 4 - Have him take part in stopping solver Uzi. This video's idea would work. Episode 5 - literally have Uzi's hacking session be a sleepover, just like Khan expected. Episode 6, 7 and 8 - not sure...
Thad was my favorite character until he was ruined in episode 7 because he fought Disassembly Drones before and he thinks going in unarmed would do anything?
Honestly, the only way I see Thad dying in Ep 8 is either A: For complete shock value where nearly everyone dies, if not all of them or B: He dies after reuniting with Uzi and N, having a bit of a bonding moment with them before getting killed, making his death actually have some semblance of sadness As you said, Thad is unfortunately not as important of a character, so it wouldn't make sense to just kill him off for no reason at all. Then again, Liam is unpredictable, so I can totally see him doing that, but it'd be a really stupid move on his part if he did. I just don't see how Thad dying would impact the story in any meaningful way whatsoever for the main cast, let alone the plot. Other than Uzi and N and even that's debatable at this point, who among the main cast would feel sad, let alone cry about him being dead? Now Lizzy on the other hand is another story entirely. She's best friends with V, so her dying actually would have an impact because V would go berserk if someone killed her should she still be alive(which I believe she is) That's why my money's more on Lizzy and Khan dying in Ep 8 because their deaths would actually serve a purpose to the story, as much as I hate to admit it.
@@Jonathan83X the more I think about it the more I think Lizzy and Thad might. Liam is definitely the kind of person to kill off side characters for shock value. Lizzy actually has a reason tho yeah.
