After all of their Nintendo themed songs, I have determined that the only way Nintendo should ever advertise their games and consoles is by Random Encounters. If this was the advertisement I saw for Smash Brothers U, I would immediately just run out of my house and buy it.
So the people of Smash Bros are (in order of appearance in the song): The Fanboy - Knows tons of information like secrets, news, and plot. He collects memorabilia and spends hours in single player mode. His skill is often low to average. The Competitor - Has the highest level of skill (sometimes pro level). She usually knows technical things like character tiers, frame data, etc. However, no fun allowed when she's around. The Scrub - Thinks he's the competitor, but lacks her skill. He becomes incredibly angry whenever he loses and blames others for his loses rather than himself. The Noob - Plays the game rarely or doesn't care to get better. His general strategy is to mash buttons and hope something works. Usually the worst at the game. The Third or in this case, Fifth Wheel - The guy nobody wants to play with for some reason. They can also be combinations of 2 or more (A fanboy that's a scrub, the competitor being the fifth wheel because no one wants to fight him/her, etc) This sums up players in most competitive games today. Great song guys!

My first guy was Pikachu... I'd play at my friends place... and when we unlocked Ness, we freaking out. We thought it was a super secret and OP character that we just had to learn to control to be invincible. Then, Smash Melee came out a few years later... but we got a PS2 instead of a Gamecube #NoRegret Got a Gamecube years later though, and I did play Melee at other people's houses... just not my own.

I think it's wonderful that both the "casual" and "competitive" players are singing in harmony and enjoying the game together. In fact, the general feeling of comradery between these five people is what makes this enjoyable for me.

No, all remotes shown work with smash. Smash for 3DS has a feature to link to the Wii U version and be used as a controller. Theres a GC remote adapter for the Wii U. The wii remote and nunchuck are compatible, as well as the Wii pro controller.
Can we talk about how awesome Ben's singing voice was?? Deep... Operatic... Bravo sir! :D You could really use him more often, or at least more Tenor/Bass types occasionally. I think Markiplier is the only one in past RE musicals who sang with a low/deep voice before this. (Unless we count Ganondorf? ;D)
We have actually tried to get Ben many times in the last two years and every time a huge, life shattering emergency came up with either RE or him. It took way too long :O
I'm super excited for this game. It just gets better with every new edition! The first Smash Bros. edition I've played is Melee. I like to adapt to new featured controllers, so I use the Wii remote + Nunchuk for Brawl, and I'll most likely try out the Wii U Gamepad for this game and see how well I'll adapt to it. I'm mostly a quick-attacking, agile, various-tool-packing type of player. As a result, Fox is my favorite fighter. This song is great. It makes me even more excited about the game's release! Keep up the good work, guys! :D

I've played every smash bros game since Melee and my fave is probably Brawl, it just felt good, sure there's bad things like horrid balance regarding metaknight, but it just feels more...alive than the latest smash bros, not really sure how to explain it but it just doesn't feel right.

Melee Girl is all about how the gamecube controllers are objectively better for high level play. Then there's the "I only play this at parties" guy, whose using a wiimote and nunchuck, which is pretty much the worst way to play the game.
I would get used to the controls I am a master gamer I can remember all controls on thee wii xbox and 5 in 1 plug and play even though I just learned so I am used to a lot of controls so smash bros on my wii would be easy...... I think. I do not have it : . (

Where do you live? People here where I live are generally the "Dumb Kids who play Minecraft and FPS games while they don't even know how to spell the name of the game". Not that Minecraft or FPS games are bad, but most dumb people play those. BUT, there are some good people. Also, Nintendo is very well known here.

Where do you live? People here where I live are generally the "Dumb Kids who play Minecraft and FPS games while they don't even know how to spell the name of the game". Not that Minecraft or FPS games are bad, but most dumb people play those. BUT, there are some good people. Also, Nintendo is very well known here.
