Lory, you really did a nice restoration of the Gibson. Not to be confused with Mr. Henry Gibson. I am looking for a great example of a nice Gibson to call my own. Which model came with a nine HP Wisconsin engine ??? Most came with six HP Wisconsin engines. Good luck Sir and and have yourself a Happy New Year. Peace too.

As you can see they are built for cutting CROP.. Not tall grass.

Looks like it pushes over more grass than it cuts!

Mr. Quimby, is that a counter weight on the back of your tractor?

No, it is not a counter weight, it is a scoop that Gibson built. When you drive along you can lower it and it will pick up gravel or soil, whatever you want moved. Then you lift your implement arm and it will cradle the gravel or soil while you drive to where you pull a lever to flip it over and dump. It is all manual. Gibson built these for their early tractors.
      Good question, thank you.
I will be putting up a new video in the next few weeks showing how the Gibson plow, disc and spring harrow look in operation.
