Recently I really tried to follow your advice on the simple first date part. He suggested dinner and I suggested something more simple. He then got offended and a bit upset that I wasn’t appreciate of their generous offer. It didn’t go anywhere beyond that to say the least. Not sure how to respond to that kind of scenario. What would you suggest?
