Prado is the reason I started to like MXGP a lot more than I used to. He has such a great attitude and personality. I very glad he decided to race in the USA 🇺🇸. I also can’t wait to see how good he’ll be on a Kawasaki.

Always really admired Jorge. I hope he has fun and does well at the first 3 rounds of SX. Hopefully we will see him full time here when he's ready.

With all of the storylines for the 2024 SX season, Prado's entry to the U.S. SX series first few races is what I'm most interested in. Yeah, I get that Jett's super fast (flagged at Thunder Valley, got to see him up close, and the guy absolutely is blazingly fast seemingly effortlessly). I know Tomac's a beast coming back from an injury, but he's probably one of the best physically trained and even though in his final years has to be one of the favorites. I know Sexton's speed and his shift to a new bike that might take a bit to let him open it up. I understand Webb's a stalker for the c-ship..
But I'm interested in the more unknowns. Prado's gotta be the biggest unknown. AC's recovery 2nd, and Hunter's rookie season on 450's, which I think he'll eventually be a solid rider if not contender) are the next.
Curious whether Prado can learn SX that fits him. He's a game manager. He's a holeshot expert. If he can figure out SX and get top 3-4 lap times, those other two skills will turn him into a viable champ contender.

Hi, can I ask what's the difference between supercross and mxgp? I know Prado won last year on mxgp I'd assume that's top of the food chain of off road race? ( Like a motogp) so supercross I'd assume it's more like a production bike race am I correct? Sorry new to the fan base, I only watch motogp

@@freedomd333 SX was spawned from MX. SX is artificially sculpted tracks inside stadiums. The track requires more of a "timing" approach to riding, instead of the more "flat-out" approach of MX. MX racing is usually more physically demanding, largely because they're longer in duration. However, SX tends to produce a lot of injuries, largely because of the jumps and whoops.
They're two different styles, and the evolution of SX tracks has diluted the similarity of technique required to ride the two.
Arguably, MXGP riders are better at MX than AMA MX/SX riders, since MXGP riders train, prep, and ride MX year-round. Conversely, those same MXGP riders, when put on an SX track, are left behind by the SX riders. No real correlation in riding talent benefits between the two. A guy who's great in one isn't necessarily better or great in the other.
