Sol, your video is beautiful as always. The cake you made looked delicious! I am not very fond of Itaewon, but I did not visit frequently because I used to live in Incheon (it normally took us around one hour to get there). I think two of my favourite places for shopping in central Seoul are Times Square and IFC (Yeouido). I also used to go to Sindorim (D-Cube), but I am not sure about the shops there because they have changed a lot.

I'll tell you that from my selfish point of view, your move is a benefit to me. I have already benefited from it because I became interested in Korean art and monuments. I know a little about Japanese culture because I became interested in it as a child, and it is more recognizable. But I associated Korean culture more with music and dramas - a country of beautiful people. It turns out that I don't know much, because the aesthetics of this palace are simply fascinating. These color combinations and details. Something beautiful, almost spiritual 😊

15:16 noodles is our household favorite, peppery white broth as opposed to the usual red spicy broth. I think it's nongshim sarigomtang. There are plenty korean marts in the PH

In August 2023, I took a tour of the palace right after watching the changing of the guard ceremony. Despite the heat advisory 🥵🥵, I had a good time❤❤.

Super weird question but what brand is your pan? My husband is lowkey obsessed with it 😂
Could you give your chicken porriage recipe? What were the meats and cuts. What kind of rice. How long to cook rice. Did you get rid of garlic cloves and ginger and just use the broth?? It really looked good and wanted to try it. I just didn’t see the chunks of garlic or ginger in the rice if it was still there at the end. Was that sesame oil to flavor at the end?

I used thigh meat but you can use any cut you prefer. The rice is sticky rice and I cooked it until I got the consistency I wanted ( think it took about 20 mins) I got rid of the ginger but crushed the garlic into the porridge with the spoon at the end. I just used the normal sesame oil :). Hope you enjoy!
