IT'S THAT UNDERRATED
An absolute shame honestly, Romanov had such obvious talent and passion behind his games yet he decided to throw it all away. In a separate timeline there’s a Romanov who was a wonderful addition to the fanverse that everyone loved and respected for his skills and that makes my heart hurt 😭
I still cannot fathom why any of those guys would do what they did. Was it insecurity? It’s such a shame.

ramenov was apart of a group called "the pear" and they were planning to leak a bunch of upcoming fangames like fnac 4 and popgoes. they also dislike bombed certain games and boosted their own game's ratings, racism, homophobia, blah blah blah, and then they got caught
I really hope more fangame devs take inspiration from the rockafires. those things are fucking *creepy.* Billy Bob has a tendency to get his eyes stuck rolled back, and one time he just. randomly activated. scared the shit out of me.

@@shad0wchateau you know what would be cool if a fnaf fangame was based on and looked like the very classic days of cec when the furry rubber faced animatronics looked ugly not only that making the whole animatronics walking around during the day concept be realistic with old motorized wheels on there feet and they would only move their head and limbs so they won’t lose balance and fall on a customer the designs would look something like out of battington s style but more ugly looking just like when the cec animatronics were when they we’re first made what do you think :) ???

Ok, I must admit, I had no idea that Eddie and the Misfits was made by Ramenov.
It is shame though, knowing that a person this talented was involved in a pretty serious scandal regarding FNAF fan games.

This was such a good game, but it's too bad that there was so much drama with the creator. Haven't played it but watched a playthrough, but it was kinda scary
If only Ramenov and the others didn’t do that crap with the Pear. It’s a shame because the art direction of EatM is friggin awesome.
I went on a school trip to wvu, and while we were there we went to an arcade with old ass rockabilly animatronics. I never knew the names of ‘‘em and was always fascinated by the one who’s holding a hunter by his head (the joke being that the animal hunted him instead) and always felt like that specific animatronic alone is enough for a fan game

"made way back in 2019" made me more depressed than anything in the game, realizing that is technicaly a while ago now.
I remember Eddie and the Misfits, it was an amazing fangame.
I wouldn’t call this underrated or unknown, since quite a few people know about it, but it is pretty good and polished.
As a person who's special interest is REAL LIFE animatronics and owns a few working ones, I LOVED the fact this game was based on the Rock-A-Fire band which was basically a restaurant chain that competed with chuck E cheese and then CEC went bankrupt and Rock A Fire bought CEC and rebranded their animatronics into CEC animatronics and the last known Rock A Fire in existence shut down around 2017 (I think) and I personally think its so cool that this band is remembered even if its only a few. One day I WILL own a Rolf the Wolf animatronic I SWEAR
What I liked the most were the cutscenes, they were so real and looked straight out of a movie.

Still surprised people enjoy his games after everything he did. I use to help Ramen with a lot of his earlier games up until Eddie and the Misfits as we were pretty good friends, though I no longer have contact with him after the whole incident. Funny enough, he did get into some controversies in the past before he got popular, but no one in our friend group expected him to go as far as he did as everyone thought he learned from his past. Makes me wonder what he's doing now.

It's a good game, and it's not like he gets money from people playing it.
@@whoopingmuffin9700 I didn't say anything about the game being bad, I'm just saying that Ramen wasn't really much of a good guy behind the scenes. I do support what the game has brought to the fandom due to how unique the game was compared to other fan games as I think it's one of the best. I also don't fully agree on separating artist from their work since some artists can make artwork that can promote harmful or immoral ideas, which is why artists should be held accountable for their work, in most cases. It's like saying Lily Orchard's work can't be used against her, as a person, even though some of her work sexualizes and promotes child abuse. But obviously, Ramen and his team only made Jr's solely out of passion for FNAF, so I can see the point you're making here. I do enjoy the game, I just don't agree with Ramen's actions.
The little cut-outs look so sweet, but the designs are _definitely not._ The visuals look pretty great, I can agree with that =]

Honestly. . . Why are the ONLY Fangames that have their Animatronics with designs Inspired by Showbiz Pizza's Robots; So Far(as of 2/12/2023) JRs as well as Eddie & The Misfits?!!!
Seriously; I Feel like Not enough Fangames take influence from the Uncanny Valley & Rubbery Faces of IRL Robots like the Rockafire Explosion!
Seriously; The Games would be scarier if the Animatronics were more similar in Design to the Same IRL Animatronics that Traumatized Children!
If you're looking for FNaF fangames like Showbiz, i'd recommend Five Nights at Chuck E Cheese's: Rebooted if you haven't heard of it yet. I played it for our channel and it really good, definitely one of my favorites.
Fun Fact: I'm pretty sure Ramenov was below 16 when he made this. Don't know exactly how old he was but he was in his early teens.

To be fair, the early fnaf games ways introduced all their threats within the first couple of days, relying on you adapting to increase hostility and challenging mechs to keep players engaged. While some games change the formula by introducing a last minute threat towards the final night, it would be difficult to master a game that introduces new threats each night without adapting the player into getting use to dealing with them a certain way by giving them more time to grow use to the current enemies than force you to worry about a new threat each night (it's basically what Post Shift 2A and the finale of Post Shift 2 tries to do: it expects you to be used to these animatronics that you knew exactly what to do (even though they change the mechanics a little to make you adapt to a more intense playstyle)

They were part of a group known as "The Pear"..they threatened to release classified photo and leaks of other fan games (to kind of ruin them, make them no longer a surprise) as well as private photos of scott's family and a video of his wedding. It was a pretty bad situation and I feel bad for all the devs they threatened with leaks

I want to say, these are by far the scariest jumpscares I've ever seen in a FNaF Fangame, the first (and pretty much every time afterwards) time I got jumpscared I screamed, they're so fast and come out of nowhere and it's not your average, raaawr scream, it's like you were in a sewer and some hobo snuck up behind you and shouted in your ear.
Made the game a lot more tense knowing if I failed that's what I'd have to deal with.

the game overral looks really good, such a shame his game was removed though, hope we hear from him with new projects though. i recommend TRTF4 enhanced edition, probably one of the best games out there, it's only 1 night but it's pretty clever and fun.
He was kinda kicked out of the fandom along with the rest of the pear members..so we probably won't be seeing future projects (or at least, most won't support said projects after what he did/was part of)

The "rewire the circuit" is literally just like the GTA V hacking thing 💀💀 😭 it reminds me of that also because you have to do it 3 times.
correct me if im wrong but to me, the style of the re-wiring segment looked a lot like the hacking sequence that the passenger does in GTA Online's Fleeca Job heist. minus the obvious darkness and using your cursor to reveal the path, of course.

The circuit hacking section is most definitely inspired by GTA online fleeca job hack. It has the same style, exact same way it works just way slower
