What a difference 10 hours makes!

- I'm happy to report that the X-Country flights are all done and dusted. I'm left feeling very relieved and mildly exhausted. It's the most flying I've ever done in one day and the night this video was shot I slept for 12 hours straight!
Having accumulated over ten hours now I'm feeling a lot more at home with my aircraft. Everything is becoming instinctual which is great, as it frees up my limited mental capacity for other things; such as navigation, communication and general airmanship. Once I get my licence back from the CAA I'm tempted to visit Compton Abbas airfield. The Isle Of Wight is also high on the list and will be my first overseas trip of sorts!
Anyway folks, hope you're all keeping well and I shall be in touch again very soon.
Love Cupcake... - Ігри
Now I think you HAVE to recreate that plane and fly it recklessly in KSP!
PERFECTION ! Just , for the love of everything that is holy, don’t let any small green men near your craft.
Luckily I've got a very good technician to help me when things go wrong!
green men can do nothing a lot of struts can't fix
heeey, those landings are starting to look more like your KSP ones !
Very smooth 👌
*Butter* smooth landing.
That was really damn smooth! Congrats!
Cheers!
Holy based what an absolute gigachad!
A cupcake-tier landing!
I came back to tell you that your videos literally made my high school year :)
Nice landing!
Very smooth!
Cupcake landers got so sick of KSP 2 that they decided to just fly a real plane instead lol
I haven't yet had the pleasure of experiencing KSP 2. From what I gather this is perhaps for the best!
First
Edit: Yo no way, cupcake landing IRL! Good job.
Thanks!
I thought this video might've been titled, 'Landers cupcaked!'
Amazing! How does the top-mounted engine feel? Do you have a noticeable pitch up when cutting gas, and inversely when setting full power?
Oddly enough it's the opposite effect, when you cut power the nose drops which is what you want really. Overall it's very well balanced, it does suffer from a lot of adverse yaw but providing you use your feet it's fine.
@@CupcakesLanders these light aircrafts really make you work, right? Love them. Never got to fly any, but I got my tail wheel endorsement earlier this year, and it's been a blast, flying a Jodel D112 and Stampe SV4. Stick and rudder!
@@rafale89140 Good for you! I hope I can fly tailwheels one day but I understand it can be... what's the word? Interesting. Yes, you do have to really fly these aircraft but to me that's part of the appeal. 🙂
Nicely done. Glad you didn't Jeb the landing!
Me too!
looking like a pro. from here its 747s!
Pfft! Nah mate, he'll be drifting an SSTO through the legs of the Eiffel Tower! 😁
Nah, I fancy Concorde instead.
I am confused though... Where is behind-the-scenes part with all the crashes?
Unfortunately I can't afford another aircraft so crashing it just isn't an option.
From a pilot, nicely done 👍
Please, I'm really stupid.
Is this an actual plane, or like an RC plane? I'm sorry for being so stupid, but I don't know about these things, and it's only a dumb question if you ask it twice, right?
@@iami3rian394 You could watch his previous video, but I'll just tell you: It's a real plane, a Cyclone AX3. Not all planes come in an aluminium wrapper. ;)
Thank you!
@@ArchaicAlibithat's real... Like a person is in there?
That's bananas.
EDIT: Thanks for not bullying me. This is crazy to me. This man got in there, and flew that cardboard box... I don't have the cajones...
Sometimes there's even two people in there. All powered by a glorified lawnmower engine!
If that isn't butter, I don't know what is
veri gud landing👍
Ta!
@@CupcakesLanders also when next kerboi video
He is not a ksp player anymore, he is a kerbal...
Awesome. Coming to Oshkosh?
Crossing the Atlantic might be a challenge. 😔
@@CupcakesLanders Just install a relief tube!
