It will handle most currents. But I was looking for a place to fish. And there are interesting things in the most weird places. I don;t understand the comment, "no chemtrails".
Oh that's a fun trip. Are you going to get out on the water any more this season or are you starting to winterize & plan for spring? I think i might have 2 trips left in me, depending on the weather.
@@rootwad most of my stuff is winterized. But not the canoe motor or the big boat. With the canoe, I have to get into the water 💧 to load the canoe on the trailer. There is no getting around it. So water temp is a big factor. This is the determining factor for going out. I have waders for cold weather.
Can you make a video on how you built your transom saver for your outboard? I’m tired of pulling my outboard off every time I make a lake trip. Thanks!
@@Ralphcanoeingadventures thanks for the quick reply Ralph. Love your videos! That’ll work great! Looking forward to it. Continue to be safe on all your canoe adventures! 👍🏻
@@Ralphcanoeingadventures I used to have an aluminum boat with a trailer but I sold it and I'm thinking of buying a small boat or canoe did I can just put in the back of my truck. Looking into aluminum canoes and I seen your video so I was curious.
@justinsmitley7619 mine is a Grumman. They are heavier than most canoes. Very well built. Mine is over 50 years old. I bought it new. Look into an ultralight. 55# for the good one. The lighter, the more expensive .
Like the way you used the eddy behind bridge pillar so that current didn’t come at you full force. Smart move, a great canoeman.

@Tdog9915 this winter I'll pull the unit in the shop and do a close view of the pipe and mount. Will that work?

How much does that aluminum canoe weigh?
@@justinsmitley7619 105 #s. I took it to Boundary Waters once. Never again. That is why I use a trailer.
