Keep in mind this whole manga and anime is philosophy and a large one is about the soul. The biggest question is where the soul resides. Is the soul apart of the body. Etc. So you have to pay attention to all the conversations to catch things at times. Basically how could Togi do that. His body info was more powerful than the host soul, therefore does body and soul go as a package? It was definitely because of the heavenly restriction though.
Go back and pay attention to the purple marks on that guy’s face, you’ll get a better idea of what his technique is and why he’s lucky he had it when he met Nanami 😂
Also remember when Fake Geto takes bodies ge also gets their memories....so Toji's body also has his memories....you Don't need a soul for that....only thing that changes is that if the body gets like injured it won't be able to keep containing him
The grandma didn’t just summon Toji, she summoned “Zenin Toji” as in Young Toji when he was still part of the Zenin clan before he took the same last name as Megumi once he was born. So essentially she summoned a peak Toji. She only summoned his body so that her grandson can use Toji’s absolutely brokenly powerful body to slaughter a ton of sorcerers. The problem is they didn’t take into account they are summoning Toji who is the most powerful non sorcerer to ever exist and due to his crazy Heavenly Pact his body was able to overpower the soul of the grandson. Basically Toji’s h heavenly pact forced the grandsons soul to submit to Toji’s body which essentially allowed Toji to resurrect himself….its semi confusing but rather easy once you wrap your head around it. The only thing in my mind tho is if this is a technique people can do then does it even matter if Geto or Gojo or Yuji or anyone other character in the series at all dies? I mean couldn’t they technically just find some weak person and use them to resurrect anyone from the past that has died? Surely a random nobody with zero power could withstand a transfer with someone like Yuji or Gojo in the event that it was needed.
