Damn you are beautiful!!!!! You look like a Goddess! I am serious!!!!! Your skin-cheek bones- your nose- your white teeth. Girl! 👀👀👀👀👀👀 !!!!!!! Your husband luckkkkkkkkkkkkkky AF! And you cook good too! Laaaawd!
He's right😍Not only is your cooking gorgeous but so are you. Please show us your face more often because we need a lot of positive energy during these depressing times 😷Thank you for your videos Terri Ann 💖
Girl. When I saw the title. I clicked so fast. I LOOOOOve ginger beer. It's the only thing I keep in my house for myself without it being dranked up in a hour as soon as I come home with groceries.
In surinam we call this ‘djiendja bierie’. We put cloves, sugar, essence (vanilla, almond or pear) and lemon in it. It’s so flavorful and really good with ice 🤩 good video!
ODEAN LAWRENCE Hey Odean, I just looked up a video for you that explains it in English! Not everyone’s recipe is the same but I think this will do! ua-cam.com/video/YHL8L3Vpk1Y/v-deo.html.
ODEAN LAWRENCE ua-cam.com/video/Lshfl4WuvzI/v-deo.html this one is a little bit different but is also nice. The outcome looks more like the ones i have had.
@@randall8405 hi, thank you so much for taking the trouble to find these recipes for me! That was very kind of you. I now have 3 additional recipes because I got one from one of your Sistas as well 👍🏾Can't wait to try them all! Mmm! Yummy! 😊😋
My late Aunty used to make Ginger beer and I always wandered how this was made. Terri-Ann you came to the rescue with this one 👍🏽 Thank you sooo much for sharing!
I absolutely love ginger beer. Usually I get it carbonated. But I know now not to use too much water to not dilute it later when I mix it with carbonated water. Thank you for sharing.
You are a beautiful lady and yes I have not regretted trying any of your recipes. Thank you for taking time out of your life to share and teach us your wonderful recipes. Know that you are appreciated always even if we can’t see you.
Thanks for sharing TERRI-ANN I am from Antigua I was never taught to use limes or lemon in ginger beer that’s new for me I use almond essence And if you want the ginger beer extra hot you heat it on the stove before you add the white sugar
@africansnowqueen I know right? Lots of childhood memories which I miss. I love ginger and it's helped me alot battle my constipation problems and acne. I even put ginger slices in my gallon of water daily.
So nice to see your face! I know exactly what you mean. When i record i am in my casual house clothes, no make up nothing. lol not camera ready at all!
It was very nice to actually see you...the making of the ginger beer took me back to my childhood when my mum made cakes, puddings, patties, ginger beer and even strawberry flavoured syrup 😋. Thank you Terri-Ann
Hi La Zee, i just left a message for Randall, who is also Surinamese? I was asking him if he could write out the recipe for your Sudanese Ginger beer, so can you send me the recipe too.
ODEAN LAWRENCE Ingredients: - 250 grams of ginger - 2.5 kg of sugar - 4.5 liters of water - vanilla essence (almond is also allowed) - 1 teaspoon of citric acid - 4 cloves Necessities: - Grate - Large pot or Bucket Preparation: Wash the ginger clean. Try to remove the skin as much as possible. This can be done by brushing it off or cutting it off thinly. Finely grate or blender the ginger. Place the grated ginger in a large bucket or jar and pour 4.5 liters of water over it. Add the sugar, citric acid and cloves and stir well. Now let it sit for 4 to 5 hours so that it can absorb well. Strain the ginger ale and top it off with a dash of vanilla essence. If you find it necessary you can add a little more citric acid. If you find it a little too acidic, you can add a little more water. Tips: - The ginger beer is served cold, preferably with ice cubes. - As a variation you can also add pieces of pineapple to the drink when you serve it. - The ginger beer can be kept for about a week. - Ginger beer is less suitable for children because of its spicy taste!
@@lazee5747 thank you so much for taking the trouble to give me this recipe in such fine detail! I appreciate it so much! Thank you my darling! I can't wait to try both yours and Terri Ann's! Mmm! Yummy! 😋
Hey, Last night I went out with a friend (we did collaging before hand). It had been really cold because I live in the north part of the uk and there was a storm. However, when we got into the bar there was “Fiery Homemade ginger beer” on the menu and I had two glasses. It warmed my chest and soul. So I came home with ginger on my mind, and at breakfast told my flatmate of my plan to make the drink. We sat down with our tea and toast at the kitchen table and set out to find a recipe. I knew it needed to be someone I trusted to make the fiery drink that I love. When we found your video we both loved it, it was so clear and informative. After my sports game today (my first one😬) I can’t wait to pick up the ingredients from the vegetable shop and come home to give it a go. Thank you so much for such a great video and I’ll report back on how it goes. 😊
Yummy I was taught to add cream if tartar to help ferment the drink over night. I'm use to a darker color drink maybe it's brown sugar that makes it brown.
So I just literally send all my friends and family your link to subscribe I am very impressed...I've been watching all your videos and u gave me an entire menu for the week thank you and keep blessed
Damnnn girl ca ka fete.. Been waiting to put a face to the voice for so long and you are gorg 😍.. I love ginger beer but we make it most often during the independence season.. We sometimes put rice in it as well when we let it rest.. Yes I definitely want to see your face more.. Much love from Dominica🇩🇲
You look marvelous no need to be shy I enjoy your recipes and your channel, blessings to you and thanks much .always a pleasure learning from you .happy cooking.🙌👍✌🌺🌹🌅🙏
I love ginger. So, thought I’d give this a try. I’m curious as to why yours looks like lemonade. I followed the recipe exactly but mine is a brownish color. Also, once refrigerated there’s about an inch of cloudy settlement in the bottom. Idk but the flavor is refreshing. Any ideas or hints would be great. Btw, I enjoy your channel!
Your ginger is probably just coming from India. Their ginger is darker. Ms Terri Ann’s is probably Jamaican ginger. Jamaican ginger is lighter in color and actually much stronger than darker gingers
The thing is, you didn’t want to blind us with your beauty 😍😍
☺agree👍
That’s what I’m saying 😍😍
HONESTLY 🤣
I concur!!!!
Gorgeous
GORGEOUS AND CAN COOK , YOUR HUSBAND IS BEYOND BLESS .

We had no blender and grater either, we used a stone to grind and make the paste for all spices including tomatoes if you wanted them pureed 😊

It could be because of the sugar used etc . Also the inch of Cloudy settlement at the bottom is totally normal as I had it too :)
