Oral, Head and Neck Cancer Awareness Week: Rob Paulsen

Meet our 2020 and 2021 Spokesperson! Maybe you don’t know Rob Paulsen, but you’ve heard him. A lot. You know him from Pinky and the Brain, Animaniacs, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Jimmy Neutron Boy Genius, and most of the other animated projects that Paulsen has been part of as a voice actor for nearly three decades. As a throat cancer survivor, Rob is now using his famous voice for a good cause--raising awareness of head and neck cancer and promoting the importance of early detection and prevention.

Currently having to watch a lump in my neck. The biopsy said I was good about 7 months ago. Gotta get another one in 3 months. Rob’s story hit home with me not only because I’m a huge fan but I feel like I can relate to his situation a little. Glad you chose him to be a spokes person for this.

I met him once, he Skyped me for my birthday a few years ago while I was still in high school, than, a year after I graduated, in 2018, I met him at an Animaniacs Live concert, than he recently did a Cameo thing for me this year, my stepdad even gave him his personal phone number, he even knows about my brain tumor I had removed back in 2005.
