Yeah, the manga is amazing and I think the anime is doing a decent job adapting it (at least it's not a disaster like Hoshi no Samidare). It has one of the best cast of characters I've ever seen, they all have understandable motivations and are really well developed. Senya is easily one of my favorite characters of all time, it's just beautiful how much that kid grows throughout the manga.
