Hi Sandy. I would put the sentiments inside the card. I am so happy you attached a video to your blog post. It is relaxing to watch you color. I love that you made the same card with 3 different mediums. These cards would make a beautiful gift set. The bow finishes the cards perfectly. I love Great Pyrenees. They are so playful and full of love. Their hearts are as large as they are. Thank you for all the extra information about picking out supplies. I am new to your blog and channel. I am a first-year crafter and I appreciate the help you offer on what to purchase and encouragement I get from you in your videos.❤
I love your recommendation for Copics - it was so empowering to know I didn’t need them all. At least while I was learning. I also went with your recommendations on watercolor paint and have been thrilled, and slowly built my palette as the years have gone by. I wholeheartedly endorse your Jumpstart and 101 classes as a way to get to know if a medium is your jam.
Wow, @Sandy Allnock, you blow me away each and every time I watch your videos!! It’s amazing how different each coloring medium turns out. I love each of these and learn so very much from your videos. Thank you for teaching us through YT as well as your classes. You rock!!
I wish I had known this when I first started, Sandy, I have spent a fortune on Prismacolour pencils, inktense pencils and blocks, all the big sets. Umpteen pallets of watercolours, WN Inks and so much paper. All because everyone liked something different. Finally settling on watercolour and I have so many sets, sticks and tubes again because all the teachers I followed on You Tube recommended something different and I didn't know any better.😢
Sentiment on the inside. My rationale: It gives people time to appreciate the art and wonder about what the card is for before opening it and getting a second surprise (the greeting).
Good idea to use the stamped image for medium practice. Can just focus on what works best for you without having to try and draw something at the same time 😀
I have to agree, sentiment on the inside. (Left a comment on the blog about also agreeing about starting with pencils & HIGHLY recommended your Jumpstart class-all of your classes are superb.) 😘
I wouldn't be able to choose a favorite from these beautiful cards, but I can easily say 'inside sentiment'. Between the images, background stamping and bows, the card fronts are perfection 💛
Love your Pattern stamping class it is fun. I am just behind in the class because my elderly Cat is has congestive heart failure we just found out. Thank you for this it was fun to watch🙂
This video convinced me to sign up of the colored pencil jumpstart class. You did a great job breaking down the pros and cons of each medium. Thanks Sandy.
Sandy, thanks for sharing. I love this video tutorial. I think I need to get out my colored pencils and give them some love. I also think I need to take that course to create a background.
I’m not a newbie (does that make me an oldbie?), but I learn something from every video you post. This time I noted how you layered the colors - I’m not very proficient at getting the color I want. I also really LOVE your finished cards. So elegant layered on top of your patterned paper. I don’t buy patterned paper any more. But make my own? Now you’re talking! The way you constructed the card with the ribbon detail - I must try that.
Thank you Sandy, I love this tutorial. I find myself turning to my colored pencils most of the time on my cards. This tutorial is gonna be a game changer for my coloring now. I recently joined your Patreon. Thanks so much again for all your talent that you share with us. God bless you.
Sentiment inside Sandy! Such beautiful cards.❤And, from someone who has done the Jumpstart class in all three mediums - alcohol markers, watercolour, and coloured pencil - I highly recommend them to anyone starting out.😊
The bow! 😍😍😍 What a great idea with punching 2 holes. I've never seen that before. Just bought some Stonehenge. I'm excited to see the results. Are you letting the Gamsol dry before adding another layer of pencil? Colored pencils & watercolor are my favorite. I have markers. I need to use them. Since purchasing them, I've learned to give myself grace when trying new things, & you always inspire me with your ideas.
I absolutely love my copics and have used them for many years, recently when using it has become very frustrating when getting the image almost colored a big drop of ink blobbes onto my piece I carefully took time to do 😔I keep them lying on there side, and thought opening the opposite end cap during use may help and that hasn’t either. Any suggestions? Anyone reading these please do not be deterred from buying copics, I truly love them they are my favorite coloring tool. Maybe mine are just old, not sure . Asking for advice
I wouldn’t think leaving it open while coloring would be any good, it might even weirdly, change the pressure and be causing the problem. You’re probably over filling them if they’re doing this?
Beautiful Sandy, I just can’t figure out where I am on the levels. I have been dabbling in art for many years so I am self taught. I need some help on each of the levels? Help! I so enjoy watching you on UTUBE and have learnt lots just from watching you and Bonnie Krebs (AI) 💖🤗
Comment on the front. Is there anything you CAN'T color with? I swear I think you could use berriies, coffee, dirt, grease or anything someone throws at you. I don't mean I want them to throw dirt or anything else literally at you.

Sentiment inside would be lovely. All the cards are stunning, playful and fun! Beautiful artwork.

Thanks for this video. Always a good reminder we don’t need everything!
I’d put the sentiment inside.

Lots do that…hopefully ppl will find this video and save a lot of $🥰
So much info in a short little video. Thank you for that. I love your cards and I vote for sentiment inside.
Wow! That was interesting, and the cards are fabulous! Put the sentiment notation inside. The recipients will be displaying these cards. 😀
Have to add that I think colored pencils are easy to grab and start working with right away. I vote for an outside sentiment. TFS
They all are sooooo cute ❤❤❤❤
Inside sentiment. The work is so beautiful on its own.
I would add the sentiment in the inside. Love your work ❤️
I love seeing the same design in three different mediums! I’m probably late but I think inside sentiment would be best

A vote for the sentiment inside here. I love how these are the same, but so different! Thank you so much!
definitely message on the inside!!!! TFS!!!
Totally agree about Watercolor paper 🙌🏻 I invest in 100%cottons, and use the cheaper ones for practise 😅
Sentiments on the inside 😀
Such beautiful cards, I love how you did the pattern paper and did the bow ❤
I love these cut little stamps. You inspire me!
Love your Pattern stamping class it is fun. I am just behind in the class because my elderly Cat is has congestive heart failure we just found out. Thank you for this it was fun to watch🙂
Oh no! So sorry about your kitty 😞
Thank you Sandy❤

Glad it was helpful!
All of them are gorgeous!!
Sandy, thanks for sharing. I love this video tutorial. I think I need to get out my colored pencils and give them some love. I also think I need to take that course to create a background.
More Anita stamps!!!

you should put the sentiment on the inside so the art can be the main focus.

No opinion on where the sentiment goes--I'm enchanted by the images! All three media are delightful! Thank you.

Great tutorial Sandy. Thanks again for sharing your suggestions and talents!
You are so welcome!
Always great

You're amazing!
Good sound advice, thank you.

No, you don’t have to wait for Gamsol to dry❤️ which is good because I’m impatient🤣🤣🤣
@@SandyAllnock1 🤣😂🤣. Me too!
Put it on the inside incase someone wants to frame your artwork or shadow box it

@@SandyAllnock1 yes I did, so I still don’t know lol
Inside comment would be nice.
