Instead of taking the apache and shoving it with a 125 cc engine.. Happy to see they have taken the pain in developing a motorcycle from ground up.. That's an absolutely brilliant bike at this price range.
Bruh. I am talking about a different line up of sporty naked bike to compete wid likes of Dominar 400. I think its design and colour scheme is very catchy and distinctive. A naked sibling of RR310R can do wonders for TVS. I think Shumi got my point like he always do. 😁
Why is that a proud moment for every Indian. I ain't proud. Crappy 125, 150s ,160s,200s since 20 years. Nothing monumental or a very big upgrade in their portfolio or in any domestic producers.
@@antiidiottaskforce man, you are really non existent in India, because if yes, you should know that this is the Indian Market, so they have to make products based on the interest of the consumers of India, as most of the Indians consider buying a 125cc,150cc, or a maximum of 200cc bike, especially considering the current prices of petrol in India, most of the Indian people will prefer a bike or scooter with a better fuel efficiency, thus they need less cc vehicles, like this TVS Raider, because this is not just a 125cc bike, it's looking so cool and muscular that it doesn't seem to be a 125cc bike, it seems to be more, thus will attract more youth towards it, and because everyone is not as rich as you so as to afford a 350cc bike or more in India, so they have launched this beast for the Indian People 🙂

I don't know what's gng on with TVS group, but since the launch of new updated Apache series & N-torq they are just creating some excellent bikes. Looks like they did a lot of research. Keep gng TVS. Would like the see the comparo in this segment hosted by Varun n ofcourse Shumi..
This bike takes me back when the discover 125st was launched. Lightweight, great to handle in traffic, monoshock and more than enough power for a 125cc bike.

Extremely glad to see a fresh design in the 125cc segment. For a beginner or a first time buyer, the 125cc is a very lucrative proposition due to its cost and fuel efficiency. However, people had to compromise with design in this price range (looking at Glamour, Shine, SP and all the same bland looking ones). With this, an 18 year old won't feel sheepish to take this to college or an outing with friends. Glad that PowerDrift covered this so early. Also, the color scheme looks fantastic. Good job TVS and PowerDrift !!
For many years now, Yamaha RX-100 fans have been praying for a bike which has a low seat height and just as much fun. I am tempted to say that TVS has answered their prayers. The power, torque and fun factor are very close to the original. Viva TVS Raider ! Our prayers have been answered.
Now I'm confused whether to book RTR 200 now or wait for this instrument cluster to be available in next year model. Hope they bring after sales customization option like RR 310 in Apache series. Btw the way Shumi rides, even a 125cc commuter feels like a superbike 🔥
The speed at which TVS is updating their models is 🔥🔥🔥 So I'm expecting them to include this in their upcoming Built to order scheme for the RTR very soon
what a masterstroke from TVS although paying 88k for a 125cc is something I never imagined. it was just a decade ago i got a pulsar 4v 135ls for 60k and that beast redlines at 10500 RPM. at that time the pulsar 150 was only 4k more. times have changed a lot, at that thime I used to imagine buying a KTM duke 200 some day. but look at the KTM's they too doubled up in price and now are out of my budget.

@@ham_is_here There is nothing wrong in being exclusive. I'm not saying its pointless.. But let it be unique. Other TVS bikes got a very decent instrument cluster. I'm just bringing an instance, Yamaha had Gladiator / SS 125 in its league which later was succeeded by SZ R / SZ series. Gladiator came with engine on / off switch, pass light switch, rpm meter, single gear lever etc which was missing in the little more powerful 153 cc SZ series. Even after its relaunch they didn't gave standard equipments. Its all about that specific bike. Its not always necessary to replicate to other bikes. But yes it might / might not boost their business. In Yamaha's case it was a pull back for their commuter segment. They were like "SZ series are made only for that FZ engine" Lol

TVS always gives surprise when ever they launch a new 2Wheelers like the Apache rtr160,200,RR 310,ntorque and now they have done it again with the new raider 125. Not only its the best looking 125 cc bike in its class but it also has great performance, ride and handling and best features to. Overall TVS has done a fantastic job by launching raider 🤩🤩🤩, they have entered in to the market by storm. Well done TVS. Thanks guys for the first look video, it was good. I love to see how the raider go up against its rivals like the hero glamour, Honda's SP 125,bajaj pulsar 125.
First time ever I'm confused whether I like this bike or not.. As said by Shumi it's made for particular audience. TVS makes good machines but always misses something to make the machine complete.
The natural thing would be to compare it to the others in the segment like Shine and NS 125. And it'd be amazing to see you guys do it as well. Also, part of me believes that there's a fair bit of skill involved in comparing bikes in this segment, more than higher capacity bikes.
Damn.... We have come a long way since those analogue dial spoked wheel 125s to these meaner looking machines with so many features.... Tech evolved so quickly and with the Axe of electrified future lurking around the corner, these are probably the last generation of 125s or 100s that we are gonna witness in 10 years time..... I absolutely loved the bumble bee face of this TVS raider and am confident it'd do good in the segment.... That ending was bang on PD and Shumi......
Really appreciate at that price TVS did a great job, hope others who sale their products at such High price should learn something, for us Indians price is always one of the big factor
