Jack Farthing played his role to perfection. He made me want to jump through the screen and slap him. Someone that can elicit those kind of reactions is really, REALLY good at their craft
I hated to see the series come to an end. It was such a wonderful show with an amazing and extremely talented cast !
They left the final season open with so many questions that could be answered. I hope they decide to return with a season 6 and beyond. Poldark is a great series and I hate to see it end for good. Please bring it back.

No! I don’t think “Poldark” ended well!!! In fact, I don’t think it should have ended at all. It is a series that championed intelligence, integrity, humanity, creativity, loyalty, history, nature, tolerance, individual bravery, kindness. How many other series have encompassed such amazing “real life” challenges from the ordinary person’s point of view? It is not as “soapoperaish” as “Virgin River”. Not as fantastical as “Outlander”. Not as procedural as “S.W.A.T”. Yet all of those series continue and “Poldark” ended without the hope of more stories of special, realistic people who have intrigued so many and brightened lives of people who used their time to enjoy this work of art. There are so many topics that could have been explored to keep the series pertinent and timely in today’s sad world. Reading a book is a lovely pastime, too, but cannot compare to watching the cast bring another way of life to life. Isn’t there some way to bring all of these amazing actors back together to continue to tell this story?
One of the saddest parts is when Francis drowned, and when Julia died. Those Cornish people had it sooo rough in life, you have to admire their courage . The spoiled elite would never have lasted a full year in the conditions the ''common' Cornish people had to endure. Prudie is a love, Caroline with her stinging wit is really a softie, Dr Enys truly truly cares about his patients, Ross is a loose cannon but his heart is definitely in the right place, Demelza is true to herself, George is despicable but would have been a better man without that devil of an uncle whispering in his ear all the time, Verity is a sweetheart, Aunt Agatha is feisty, Elizabeth really does need to be pampered, but also has a good heart, Drake sees only the good in people, Sam loves the Lord, Jud lets the bottle rule his life. There are a few others, but this is getting long.
Just got done watching whole series. Wish for more it was so great. Demelza was my favorite character. The actress played that part so well. The whole cast was picked perfectly in my opinion. To end it at only 5 seasons was a mistake.
i have just finished watching all five seasons and now I am so depressed there aren't any more. I love love this show. Please please bring it back.

The best TV show I've ever seen. The casting and acting were impeccable. Very disappointed that it ended when it did. I'm really hoping the producers will reconsider and give us at least one more season.
Jack Farthing is a great actor. The way he showed evil, cunning, crazy and emotional so convincingly was a joy to watch.

I just finished the Poldark Series and am so upset that it stopped after 5. This cast is unbelievable and the country where it was shot is truly magical beauty. PLEASE MORE POLDARK!!
Absolutely loved this series! Wish there were more!!!! Ross is my favorite but george was just a character you loved to hate. Could not have cast this series better!

Jack Farthing as George is everything. Infuriating and adorable at the same time, I love him.
There definitely needs to be more seasons. The series is absolutely fantastic. There was not one episode where I thought to myself “this is boring”. The scene in the last episode where George saves Poldark’s life was so out of left field and so spectacular at the same time. I literally jumped out of my seat and was clapping when it happened. George actually had a redeeming quality in putting loyalty to his country, which you would expect of a knighted man, over his deep hatred for Ross. It was one of the best things that happened in the series. Please do more seasons!!!
