Mike didn't know about the stuff, but he sure as hell did not expect that he would be in a barrel with it.
In this line of work, that's always a possibility.
I loved Mike as a character, and even more after BCS, but he deserved what he got. Didn't follow his own advice about "no half-measures".
Just like Hank, he decided early on that Walt was "small potatoes", and ignored any evidence to the contrary as time went on.
It's easy to root for him cuz he cared for his granddaughter, but he was an egotistical criminal himself.
@@nahor88 Yeah, that’s the point of the show. We dislike characters like Skylar and maybe Hank while rooting for Walter and Mike but in the end the characters we’re rooting for are criminals while the others are just good people in a bad situation.
@@nahor88 Its nice to see people finally stop the Mike worship and look at his actions and behavior without the favoritism goggles these days. He's selfish, callous, and honestly you could even say he's worse than Walt.

The thing that always gets me with these barrel disposals is that it’s just there’s nothing left of you. We bury are dead or do something to commemorate them but everyone that ends up in a barrel in this show doesn’t get that honor. Mike, the little dirt bike kid, and all the countless others. Like you’re just gone nothing left and man that is scary.

It dosent exactly dissolve it fully. If you watch the Jeffrey dahmer interview. He said it took around 3 weeks for the body to decompose then he would flush the sludge down the drain

im stealing this comment from another video but fun fact: due to budget restraints, vince gilligan and his team were out of ideas on how to make a realistic looking human body to dissolve in the acid. fortunately, jeremiah bitsui stepped up to the task and astonished everyone by dissolving himself in the barrel of acid. vince was so surprised by this that he just rolled with it. Love the setup of the diner scene. They set the scene really well just by contrasting what they ordered
