Same here. The only England batsmen who came close to standing up to him were Graham Gooch and Robin Smith. Everyone else just looked terrified, even Graeme Hick. Yet even when he was destroying us, I couldn't help but like the guy. I wish West Indies cricket had a bowler like him today.

Watched many of these interviews with legendary cricketers and almost all of them say the late great Malcolm Denzel Marshall as the best bowler they ever faced, great praise indeed.
He's some competitor. I remember his batting in 1999 when Lara made 153no. Curtly supported in a low order partnership and when he was dismissed was disappointed big time. Super competitor.

They can’t win a game with true spirit.😅 I really appreciate the modern day Australian players they don’t indulge in sledging because they know that they will get the same if they do it on the field.
