Love all the examples and applications you showed. Often we fall prey to bikeshedding and spend an obscene amount of time of trivial tasks like "finding the perfect typeface" when we should be focusing on the application!
Great video!! I'm doing everything by myself and I love learning about typefaces, my favorite element of design since I've begun. The PDF isn't available anymore, is there any other way to access it?
How do I download the PDF from the link? It shows the PDF but doesn't provide any download button for it; there are other downloads below it, but the PDF is rendered inside a PDF viewer with no control to download it.
Hey Bont, great video, just a general opinion, it'll be great if you could post the links of the websites you show us or use to check fonts as that'll just help us in better navigating, thanks
Absolutely love this! I've clicked the link for the pdf, created an account and I can view the document online but there's no button to download it. From the comments, other people are having the same problem. Any help with this would be appreciated 😊
Hello! Nice insights! Can you tell me what version of Helvetica you use for websites? I use the Helvetica Now, but there is older versions like Neue Helvetica and Helvetica. Greetings from Brazil, hermano!
I missed typeface number 8 - don't think you named it - can you please share? And thank you for showing me why I always come back to the classics after trying all options
Helvetica is super expensive. Could you help us get clarity on the subscription? Like what kind of license do you need to have to use it in your branding, SMM, website?
Another great video, I have hundreds of fonts which I never use and just seem to be hoarding them. Layouts are boring not the typeface #Truth thank you :)
What are your thoughts on "Inter"? I think it is a really strong and flexible typeface. But I'm seeing it everywhere nowadays so I hope it doesn't become one of those overused fonts that get sick of seeing (like Raleway and Poppins)
Note for self:
0:37 - Helvetica
3:12 - Arial
4:29 - Futura
5:46 - Garamond
7:26 - Times New Roman
8:55 - Akzidenz Grotesk
10:10 - Trade Gothic
10:56 - Circular
Display typefaces:
13:27 - PP Hatton
13:40 - PP Editorial New
13:50 - Ogg
14:03 - Univers/Helvetica Ultra Condensed
14:28 - Eames Century Modern
14:43 - Didot
Now to copy and paste this in the description, bont.
LOVE this. Such a great lesson: it’s not the typeface, it’s the designer that uses it.
Boom, you got it :)
Everyone makes so much hype about design. You make design organized and useful. Thank's so much.
So nice of you Maria! My pleasure 🙌
You're really awesome. I watched one of your videos and I was like, 'Who is this person?' Trust me, I would love to learn from you."

Glad it was helpful man, I'll note your suggestion :)
Successful web design promotes user experience by providing straightforward navigation and a responsive layout for a variety of devices.

Hello! Nice insights!
Can you tell me what version of Helvetica you use for websites? I use the Helvetica Now, but there is older versions like Neue Helvetica and Helvetica.

Glad to hear man! I use Helvetica Neue LT Pro.
I missed typeface number 8 - don't think you named it - can you please share?
And thank you for showing me why I always come back to the classics after trying all options
Yeah, you can't beat the classics. N°8 is Circular. Make sure to grab the PDF for reference!
I know some web "designers" who use the same font on every website, irrespective of the subject matter. Sadly they neither understand nor care.
Hard to believe
Helvetica is super expensive. Could you help us get clarity on the subscription? Like what kind of license do you need to have to use it in your branding, SMM, website?
That's specified on the website you buy it. Don't buy the whole family, buy the ones you need.
