📚♻️ The Santa Clarita Public Library invites the community to embrace the transformative power of reading with the 2024 Summer Reading Program theme, "Read, Renew, Repeat." The Library staff has diligently created engaging activities, including musical performances, crafts, special events and abundant reading opportunities, all centered around environmental consciousness. Kids can participate in scavenger hunts, tie-dye bandana workshops and Top Chef Jr competitions, while teens explore environmental themes through Enviroscape water tasting, community clean-ups and terrarium making. Adults can enjoy mushroom terrarium activities, Mason jar hydroponics, and wine-to-cup etching. Weekly presentations by SCV Water and Burrtec at all three branches provide valuable insights into sustainability.
