Not to stroke here, but I'm here for you, so let's dig.

Jesse is right. We have to number our days. I just lost my stepmom in January of 2019. She had stage 4 cancer. Back in November of 2018, I almost had a breakdown over the thought of losing her. She was our rock. She covered us in prayer. One day when I was visiting her in the hospital, I ran out of the room and broke down crying in the hallway. I couldn't stand to see the strongest woman I know deteriorate before my eyes. That night, I couldn't sleep. I prayed. God told me to focus on loving her while she's still with me instead of being sad that I'll miss her when she's gone. I wasn't living in the present. From that day forward, I CHERISHED AND ENJOYED every moment with her. On the day she died, I saw her take her last breath. It was the saddest, most beautiful thing I ever witnessed. I had NO REGRETS because I loved and enjoyed her when she was here with me. Her last words to me were: I love you. I miss my stepmom. I know she's with me. I use her memory to push to pursue my goals. I got this!!! TY for this episode, Ed.

Some predict the future. I create my own. Don't just settle with crossing your fingers and hoping. Do it. Move it. Make it happen NOW. No one ever sat their way to success! Comfort is the greatest enemy of success. Hi guys! It's me again :) You might have seen me before but my desire to inspire more people is what keeps me pushing to reach out more. We own a cookie shop business in our college town. When we first started it, we just graduated college and were living in our car with very little direction, just a huge passion to be successful. I started it out of a local bagel shop in their off hours at night with my boyfriend, Bran. It was a crazy experience but it worked! We became a success! And how we have our first storefront location (a second one currently under construction but launching soon!) We started it to fund a year long backpacking trip around the world and to be successful while living the life of our dreams.

44:33 - at that moment I had the most profound response to any piece of content I have EVER experienced. I've cried at stories before, I've gotten emotional/teared up thinking about things, but never in my life have I broken down and sobbed uncontrollably at what amounts to a simple question from a child. I have children myself, and this question triggered something deep that I still haven't figured out yet. But within that pain is the seed of something much bigger, and I'm so glad I found it.
I'm incredibly grateful that you bring such wonderful people to share their stories with us, thank you Ed and Jesse!

WOW, Ed! You made my day. I am going to listen this interview again and again. Jesse Itzler really opened another perspective on what we may know, may read... but books are giving a knowledge, when real people are building the experienced trust.
The quote about "Virtual mentors" brought me back to early 2000-s, when I took my "Master Class" from one of the Greek Millionaire, Mr. John Podaras. He used to do business with Coca-Cola by opening of supplementary production needed for beverage. So, he visited Armenia, that time I was Financial Manager of Coca-Cola factory in Armenia, and during the dinner he opened my eyes in entrepreneurship. He said, 'Do you think I do it for money? I have enough for me, for my family, for my children and grand children. I do it because I want to find out 'Can I do it here?' From that day his words are pushing me ahead: "Let's find out, can I do it here?!"
    Thank you for Virtual Mentorship.
    With all respects,

Big Ed - I am just going to say it - you LITERALLY bring out the very BEST in your guests. I had seen Jesse before on another show but it was a very different experience. It’s your ability to enjoy the interview and be visibly so excited about what you hear - that energy is tangible and makes your guests tell more etc. LOVE his approach towards new business opportunities where he has ZERO experience - how good is that to hear for me because I am literally within the next weeks leaving a career to start my own in business in a very different industry WITHOUT ANY PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE - but I am bringing me. That me is very fast getting better with better morning routines and a better way of thinking. I got simply healthy obsessed with improving myself. You inspire me daily and you touched upon the fact that all this content is FREE AND AVAILABLE on line - I am very conscious and I do not take it for granted. I always include social media and people like yourself and Jim Rohn in my daily gratitude prayer. And on a last note , Jesse’s program of “electives and sunshine’s” is a great approach to get the maximum out of your life! Looking forward to St Louis.

THIS IS SOOOO POWERFUL!!! I went to a conference in Oklahoma. Everyone there knows I am a HUGE admirer of Garth Brooks so they take me to his hometown of Norman, Ok. We visited his neighborhood, his street named after him, his childhood home, THEN they took me to his parents' buriel plot! Its a beautiful piece of land with amazing tombstone with an incredible letter from his dad to his mom...They are surrounded by the burials of other beloveds that are circling his parents tomb...and as Im walking and reading the names...I come to his!!! The emotions that welled up inside of me where unexplainable. I felt shock, love, and sorrow at the same time. But the biggest thing I felt was Gratitude...Gratitude that one of the biggest stars on the planet reminded me how temporary this ALL is and if HE can prepare....and be aware....Then I certainly have no excuse. Thank you for yet....another reminder!

MIND BLOWN! Ok first off, the universe aligning tips you provide via yourself and your guests is phenomenal! I just found you on this journey a few weeks ago and your energy and life-changing mantras have majorly affected my mindset and changed my daily routines. Were you ever looking for something but didn't know what till you found it? I have dedicated myself to major changes the past few years~ changing how I deal with depression, how I feel about myself and what I will and will not accept into my life. I am a 1000% different lady from 3 years ago and especially from 6 months ago. My journey, by the Grace of God, has become such a passion to help others that I am no longer worried about ~How, What or When~ I am just DOING every day to make it all work. I am no longer aiming for perfection before I extend myself to help others. Thank You so much, Ed, for providing such amazing content and real-world truth that is attainable for each of us who chose to try. You are a blessing!

It's not your typical Q&A but how Ed breaks things down into how people started, droves into if they failed not only how but what they did to adapt and overcome, and most importantly (imho) makes it a point to show us that its not all glitz and glammer. Everyone is human and the common theme of that beautiful stubbornness that separates the achievers who took the next steps and refused to settle. Thank you Ed.

I learned from you and Mel Robbins to not touch my phone the first 30 min of my day. Today, as soon as I hit 30 min - I knew I had to look for your Podcast.......
    My biggest take away today
We reflect on the past (childhood experiences, etc...).....the middle is where we live now...its where we spend all of our time and worry.....and the end we ignore. I had the discussion with my husband a week ago about death and what we want - we have our end planned out - was not an easy conversation to have......but we did it.
When Jesse talks about his son - the conversation about curse words - too funny......the part about death - heart wrenching.....

What's 1 key thing you took away from the conversation?

    • @ismilareyes4176
      @ismilareyes4176 5 років тому

One key take away is to get in front of the door of opportunity and figure out the things you need to do once your there instead of waiting for the right time which is uncertain. In addition, true life success is the influence that we embody to the people around us.
And with what Jess said- you @EdMylett is a great virtual mentor - and to me as well. You have the most heartful presence in every interview you make- true humble personality.

I had to pause this video to make this comment..
When he talks about thinking about the end game.. planning what is inevitable going to happen and make it a point to think about it. That hit me so hard.
If I die tomorrow, what will happen and how I can control it to a certain extent.
I want to write letters to people that are close to me.. my son, my parents and close friends about where my mind is at now, what I hope for them, my dreams and failures. Everything.
I think having no regrets is the best way to life life.

I heard Jesse Itzler before, this time he had shook me to the core when he talked about the limited time we have with our parents, and in general. Whoa! My father is turning 80 this year, and I haven’t seen him (in person) for the last 7 years! I am getting real ‘hungry ‘ I am done with the struggle! I want it badly enough! Ed, when you described your future ‘meeting ‘with the creator and talked about the person you were meant to be vs. the person you were (and hoping that the match) I had goosebumps all over. Thank you again for a wonderful enlightenment. #MAXOUT

Consider our schools, and society in general, instruct children in the life arts of fearful dependency.
Conditioning them to a lifelong fear of failure, a fear of social criticism, of straying from the pack.
Masters of chasing jobs and promotions and raises, of thinking always in the box, of working for other people and being dependent.
And nothing like this enters the curriculum.
The children are not even made aware that they can be masters at the art of life.

This is a MIND BLOWN session......WOW! Seriously the awkward and uncomfortable side of the human condition that no one wants to talk about is all here. We're all so pre-conditioned to shove individualism, personality-risk and "being different" so deep down inside of our being ...and avoid "personal embarrassment" at any cost - and the price is the vast majority of us will never achieve our dreams and life destiny because we're so cautious not "failing" that we sit on the sidelines as spectators rather than players. I watched this twice....so much insight and massive life-changing information! This mindset/way of thinking IS the law of attraction that everyone talks about and raves about. Astonishing session brother! Thank you so much for this - GAME CHANGER!!

    Amen, Brothers!!
I'm currently in Krakow, Poland - Why? Because I wanted to see the world and I liked it so much here I decided to stay longer. I'm not rich, I've just created a way of life that allows me to do things like live in Poland for four months. I still have a lot to see and do and I intend to milk every bit of juice out of this life that I possibly can!!
Your messages keep me going and let me know that not only am I not alone in my attitude, but I must be on the right track because if people of your caliber think this way - it must have merit!!
When I think about risks/fears, I always think of the alternative - how much will I hate myself if I don't go for it? That's the cure. So when people call me courageous or fearless, I laugh because the fear is always more strongly felt when weighed on the alternative. it
The Buckets - best takeaway, I'll be implementing it immediately - thank you!!
