Yeah I agree. Unfortunately, video games cannot quantify the qualities of certain players like Pippo Inzaghi, such as the awareness, and the sense of being at the right place at the right time.

In pes mobile I have inzaghi
I hated him when I got him bcoz he is a gold ball and 91 max
But man, when I deployed him on the field someway somehow he was at the right place to score goals
Seriously telling, sub him in the second half in pes
He is a different kind of beast
He doesn't even feel like gold ball 91 max, he feels like 100
In pes ( he has super sub skill in ped) if u tell me to select a sub who is gonna play for the second half, without a second thought
I will choose no messi, no cr7, no Zlatan
I will just choose pippo inzaghi
( I don't about him at fifa, since I never got to play with him)

One thing you didn't mention (and maybe you don't know about) is that he was an avid student of football. He enjoyed watching football games and he learned how other players moved so when he faced them he already knew how to play around them. Most of people just busy to looking who is the next messi or c ronaldo. But I think messi or c ronaldo is great player but never be unique as Inzaghi.

Inzagui is the perfect definition of "Simple but Effective", the only number 9 striker that is close to what Inzagui was when it comes to his clinical abilities was Radamel Falcao in his prime at Atletico de Madrid.
There's a reason of why there was a "Number 9 Curse" in Milan for so long since Inzagui left, and it was only Giroud, another underrated poacher, that was able to break it.

Not to mention inzaghi was plagued with injury. I still remember Mourinho told the press “I don’t care if Milan wants to play with 10 striker or what, but just don’t put Inzaghi on the Field.” People were laughing because Inzaghi was an injured 37 years old striker who didnt make any notable performances in that year. Even he was benched for injury in the 2nd leg which Milan lost. But for those who did not understand Inzaghi, they kept saying the first goal was lucky and the second goal was offside… That’s super Pippo for you😁

Bravo, ottimo video.

Pippo Inzaghi is what i believe a Striker is. You can dribble and pass as a false 9 and be a playmaker, but a Striker's NO.1 requirement, is goals. A striker needs to be where the space is most deadly. Inzaghi had that. He would be there, and then the most important thing for a striker: finishing. Even if he could be there, what use would it be if he couldn't score? But he did.
Positioning to a critical spot, and clincal finishing. That is a striker's bread and butter

Everyone hold their own respective task and do it accordingly as a team. .. No need some fancy BS tricks , some superhuman speed or strenght nor godly dribbling skills. .. You just had to play the game , enjoy yourself , score the goal and win the match

Filippo Inzaghi's success in football is clear to anyone with a deep understanding of the game. Inzaghi was a master at converting opportunities into goals. His ability to finish chances, particularly in tight spaces within the final 20-25 meters, was remarkable. Inzaghi's style was not about dazzling dribbles or physical dominance; it was about being relentlessly focused on scoring. His exceptional sense of positioning and timing, combined with his single-minded determination, allowed him to excel where others could not. He proved that football isn’t just about technique or athleticism-it’s also about intelligence, anticipation, and a relentless drive to succeed.
