Hello, Silly Bear - Thanks for the very sweet encouragement. Let’s not grow up though, okay? I hear it’s overrated. Besides, I like you just the way you are. XOXO

Another fabulous demo. Thanks again for all the tips. I forgot how much the pencils enhance the print. I always thought of it as 'cheating". The sink remains to be my favourite. So atmospheric. Bx

Good morning Bix, Thanks for the compliment - I hope you pull out some previously made art that you thought missed the mark, and add some pencil. there’s no cheating involved when you mix media. The only rule is to keep it fun, so you’ll come back to play more often. 👍🏽

Wow ! So fascinating !! ... here you mention the facebook group you suggested! These are absolutely fascinating tips I'd never heard of. I love the artworks you've made with them. ...and to think ... there was once a time when telephone books were freely distributed to people (we don't have them anymore in Belgium: I want one - they suddenly seem so useful!).

Hahhaahahahah! Yes, those phone books are very useful, and you can use old magazines and newspapers too! I’m so glad the tips are useful, and thank you for the encouragement on my art!

Thank you so much for sharing! Curious if someone doesn't have tarlatan wiping fabric, what would you recommend? Could regular cheesecloth work?

Hi Boreal - you could try starching the cheese cloth, but the gage is different than tarlatan, so I’m not sure it would be worth the trouble. I think newsprint and old phone book pages are your best bet, with strategic detail wiping near the end using a paper towel wrapped finger or cotton swabs, etc.
